You wouldn't catch me abusing my drill-press like that. Drill presses are not made for sanding or lathe work. The more side pressure you put on the quill the faster it wears and creates side-to-side play which reduces the drills accuracy.

Thanks! No new video editor. Just using Windows Movie Maker that we've always had on the computer. I just got a flip camera for xmas, and I'm finally making files that the WMM accepts, unlike my old camcorder!

@BradburyGuy yeah, it was a one time deal. we don't use it that often. my brother does most of this kind of work and he has a small lathe.
