I remember my first high side >.< I was going off this fairly large jump at the track, and I didn't exactly set up right and went off it at an angel and landed off of the track and in a giant mud pool.. I flew over and landed flat on my chest and couldn't breath. Mix that with the mud and I thought I was drowning haha

I crashed on my KLR in the mountains like that 5 days ago. My legs got smashed in the rocks. I did not have the proper boots on. Off to the ER for X-rays. No breaks but a bad sprained ankle and a badly bruised shin. Vicoden helped me a lot. I must keep it in my tool bag at all times. I ordered the proper boots. I will be wearing them for now on. It hurts to crash!

Dude I just saw this and that didn't look well. My first crash was into a rock wall when I grabbed a handful of throttle in first trying to adjust my grip. Younger brother and friend said I looked like a CTD (crash test dummy in slow mo) lol. Got both wrists broken and a bruised rib as a result. Wished they had a cam to record it all. All's well though. Ride safe!

@rob8082010 wow, I had a similar experience when I got my first old broken 80cc as a teen.. I rode it down my street and the brakes gave out.. I had to run it into a brick wall or into traffic.. I chose the wall.. did a weird endo CTD thingy.. my friend was rolling on the floor laughing his ass off.. After the adrenaline subsided I began to laugh as well : ) Thankfully nothing was broken..

Left cast supposedly comes off this tuesday, but the right side has about 3 more wks :( so itchy to ride again!

Oddly I see the color shifting after the crash. Maybe it just looks like that when the exposure changes? It shifts warmer like the WB is changing. I haven't seen that on a GoPro.

@Chadfish workflow could cause it as the unit is creating problems that are part of the overall workflow to achieve pretty consistent pictures. The POV HD is not ready for the populous imho..

My friend crashed into a telephone pole head on when he was 17 going 70mph with a small cut on his knee, and some scratches on his face. People break their ankles while jogging/walking.. What's your point? I weigh 198lbs and landed on my backpack full of hard objects (not soft bushes). I ended up 15ft past the bike. This particular fall was bad. You probably would have been fine though ; )

Thanks for the footage, i enjoyed it, its so tempting to go riding alone, if you do- may i suggest some body armour and boots, just to increase your survival chances when you inevitably come off. Lets be honest if you dont fall off we are not trying hard enough.. Loved the film have suscribed. Stay safe!
