A Mexican Ginger, wow. I watched this guy against Ryan Rhodes last night and he displayed a high measure of skill, technique, power and discipline. I have yet to see him tested though. I cannot wait for that. I would like to see him against an Andre Berto or Victor Ortiz. Or meybe he could move up and take on Chavez Junior whom I assess with high confidence he would beat with ease.

he's slightly overrated. his punch placement and technique is horrible. he just throws punches. i seen him throw a few nice combos. but for a mexican he fights like a south/central american(no offense). he's better than frankie gomez tho lol. he'll win a few big fights just because of his hunger. once he's exposed i dont think he'll last much longer. kind of like vargas. go head guys. i know you're gonna yell at me. but i gotta say what i see. i hope he proved me wrong and becomes a legend.

This kids the next dempsey/frazier/duran/gatti/tyson of the sport, he is going to be the most exciting fighter to watch for his time period cause he takes serious risk, has a huge heart and steal jaw and he punches like margarito did when he had lead gloves. If he fights Pacman soon he will lose (might win rematch), but in that loss he will only get better and if he is trained by the right people, managed well, not run into the ground with his style he will be 1 of the greats of his generation

canelo is faster and stronger now than cotto not ny a lot but he is, with that said cotto for 4 to 6 rounds gave paquiao the most trouble since marquez. also not to mention canelo has a better chin than cotto.
right now i do think paquiao would win, but in 2 to 3 more fights against the best at 147 or 154, i believe canelo would be ready.
if you compare the canelo/jose cotto fight to the canelo/rhodes, he as improved so much and can only get better,
