mine came with AOL 2.5 not 3.0, and the internet explorer version I can't remember for sure but I remember IE 4.0 didn't come out until I had the system for a while
There was another "credits" easter egg in Windows 95 that was activated via the help system. I can't remember what you had to input, but I do know it involves "The shadow knows!".
Oh wow, Windows 95. Now this brings back memories. This is what I used to have a looong time ago before we switched to XP. I loved it. :D Looking back on it now, I can obviously see how ancient it is compared to now, but it's nice to remember how awesome it was then.
Also, I love how you tried to browse the "modern" internet on this fossilized software. :P
I'm sorry, Crash. I never got a chance to tell you what I specifically had the last time I mentioned my computers.
Well, truth be told I did have a 95 before we switched to XP. I believe the 95 had gone to my grandfather, but since he never used computers it pretty much turned into a dust-collector. A shame, really. I would have taken it back. :P

@windows7use - The quality of the video isn't that bad, and I don't use Windows 7. To me it's full of gimmicks.

can you send me the iso download link?

Sorry, I can't. I couldn't even find the ISO file and all I can find is the Win95 harddrive, which you can find pretty easily here.

Did you install Win95 on the same computer that you have your current Windows installation on? Are you doing a multi-boot?
mystapler 2 years ago
No. I "installed" it separately, and this is a Virtual Machine remember.

I would install Opera on that thing, since that's the only thing available that still supports Windows 95.
The earliest Windows that IE6 ran on was NT 4.0, which came out a year after this.

AOL is looking for a modem.
Ya know, those things that dialed out on your phone.
AirPhforce 2 years ago
I know what a modem is. I had one when I was with AOL years ago.
CrashManEXE 2 years ago
The first modem I had required me to place a phone receiver on the thing. We had to buy another phone because ours didn't fit.

wat happens if you put system 32 in the recycle bin?

It would screw up the operating system, of course.
