  • @jter72 It's called something-that-I-find-fascinating-and-can't-remember-what-it's-called =P

  • @HalodixieC lol yes wierd but very cool!

  • Also, it grows back, normaly in a week. Oh yeah, it still moves for a while, because:

You know if people die they twich for a while?

    Well, same with the tail

  • Tails are supposed to fall off lizards in case of this hapening:

A preadator bites the tail of the lizard

Then the lizard MAKES his tail fall off, so that the preadator gets the tail,

and the lizard, gets the escape.

  • its a gecko...im not sure what type.. but its a gecko.

  • its a species of lizard I dont know the name but when they feel threatened or under attack they will detach their tail and run away while their attacker goes after the moving tail so technically it sets a decoy so it can run away

  • If the tail is still attached and you kill the lizzard by crushing its upper body/head, the tail will still jerk around crazily when the lizard is dead.

  • @toasterder u know that how

  • whaha lol 0:24

    Porn training FTW! xD

  • I thought that the body was under the dirt but then you moved it

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • ick.

  • Eww the tail was still moving! BLEHH!

  • crap, geckos are huge lol... and they're creepy as hell O.O

  • u shouldnt take off lizards tail it put s the lizard at risk. when a predator is hunting it's prey it will go for the prey's closest body part. therefor if the tail is removed the predator will go for the body instead of going for the tail. Also the reason why the tail can still move even after being detached from the body is because there are nerves inside the tail which allow independent movement. Another danger of removing a lizards tail is that they store a lot of their energy inside thier.

  • yeah and just look at it... that's sorta mean to them lol... ~_~

  • its fun doing that, if u put alcho~ it will go crazy

  • lol

  • How tail can move?? That's just tail and it moving, it's amazing :D

  • get the tail and put it in water then freeze it then if it still wiggles give it to someone and run away

  • @xjayx250 Is that witchcraft!?

  • "is it a crocodile?"

    lawlz

  • @crapatitus A baby one? maybe.

  • Comment removed

  • thats a gecko dude

  • Off of some wiki stuff:

""Natural selection has favored fracture planes and muscles that cut off blood loss," Pianka emails. Moreover, such lizards have evolved tail nerves and muscles that continue firing and moving, thus ensuring the tail continues to attract attention."

Its mostly a defense mechanism for predators !

  • Thanks for the info. I have another reptile video today.

  • @LiquidCreek your work here is done! captain!

  • Ohhhhh ! Very Cool !

I actually found a Newt - Apart of the Salamander species here on campus . Only 2 percent of the egg larvae are able to evolve into its aquatic stage. The Red Spotted Newt .
