The Royal Marines Band only perform this every 3 years at Horse Guards Parade - the next event is 9th - 11th June 09. It's pretty spectacular and is well worth going to watch. Tickets are £12 from Ticketmaster.
here if they said "and the haunting sound of war drums" i would resite the joke that goes 'there's this sergent and his geordie coperal and suddely they here the drums of was from a near by camp the sergent says "ah will you listen to that corperal they're playing war drums" and the corperal replys "the teiving bastards!!"'
