A: I have my "grab" button bound to my left trigger, default swinging is set to automatic spin, but can be set to manual spin.
B: Stop firing momentarily and they will come to your character.
C: Locked on targets will focus all your fire on that target and decrease movement speed.. If you don't lock in on a target your fire will spread and also increase movement speed.
Once i get a free paycheck ((my next one is being used to take a friend that i like to the movies and to dinner ^^ so most likely the paycheck after that )) i'm totally getting this and trouble witches Neo
Ikaruga is a fun but tough game. Idk if i'll ever get 20 million points on the first level but it's fun to play in small doses. I'm looking at picking up Deathsmiles later this year
can't anybody comment on a shooting video without bringing up other games? the first comment i always see is something about touhou being better or harder. shut the FUCK UP
Later levels are savage... it's really hard to tell bullets from background, and in some scenes there are so many bullets you can't see enemies, background, or yourself.
It gets a lot easier once you get the grapple and throw mechanics down, but it has enough difficulty levels that it's not lacking in challenge at all. Bosses are also harder the more point items you collect.
While this is a very nice video... I still cannot even get thru the first level without dying very well. When I do get to the end boss... I don't understand how you are fighting it so long... if I get there... I just hold the fire button and it dies fast... but you get a ton of points. I wish I could understand this better. :(
This takes A LOT of practice. I'd Say I put in a days worth just memorizing the enemys movements from the first level. I still have problems with Faintear. Im ranked 401 on XBL but There are much better players then me. People have gone through this game without getting hit and have gotten the "Perfect" achievement. Practice makes perfect I guess lol.
questions!
A) How do you grab/throw the ships?
B) How do you get the gold thingy to automatically come to you?
C) How do you shoot those lasers or w/e (Like in the boss fight?)
