Thanks for your comments. I did have an interesting and fantatic stay in Japan... wonderful culture, people, food. What I love most was the various cultural events and festivals and the momiji season.
Just wanted to say I liked your Setsubun vid and that we were at the same Miyako Odori this year. I plan to put a vid up on that in the near future. Your comments on those two vids are disabled. Were you getting hit with spam or lewd comments? Anyway check my geisha videos in my playlist if you like.
Thanks. Glad you like it. Ooo.. you went to the Miyako Odori this year too. Hope you enjoyed it. Was a pity photo and video were not allowed during the performance. The videos displayed are what actually happened during the events, so I wouldn't think there would be much comments... that's the only reason I disabled them.
You have some pretty neat videos. Will slowly go through them :)
Actually I was able to take photos at the Miyako Odori and Kamogawa Odori. I stood in the back with another Japanese photographer so my clicking wouldn't bother viewers. We just weren't allowed to use flash which is understandable and flash would have been useless anyway. My vid "year in review" has a photo from Miyako Odori - a scene from the Bamboo cutter - and Kamogawa Odori.
I thought you disabled your comments due to immature comments as sometimes can happen with videos of that nature.
So many places you'd been in japan and photos.
I hope you enjoyed to stay in japan.

Thanks. Yeah.... Japan is certainly a country which evokes memories once you have been there to experience it.

I wish the pictures weren't moving so fast. Could you post this video again but slower?
That picture with heads with feet... that's so ironic. I stayed at that hotel my first night when I went to Japan (for my year in Japan).

:)... I paced the photos and videos according to the rhythm of the songs. So sometimes they are fast....
Oo.... you stayed at that hotel in Osaka? hmmm... forgot where it is. Dotombori? Nippombashi? Well, hope you had fun.
ericlty2 3 years ago
Dotombori, that's right. Were you there for vacation? work?
HelpfulMate 3 years ago
I was in Japan for about two years for work. Hope to return there again.
