Cob is far more aggressive and enraged that Norther, the attitude in their songs is different, that's why is hard to compare these bands. Anyway, I would listen to Norther instead of Cob anytime

@melodeath95 Well, Norther's new stuff is great. I've listened to the whole N album and the new single, and Norther is still one great Melodeath band. And about CoB, they haven't tuned to Metalcore. Ever listened to Shadows Fall or KsE? Those are metalcore. Anyway, CoB's new style is influenced by Roope, which is a more old school heavy metal player than a melodic death metal player. That's why CoB's style have changed.
