I think both Dark Samus themes are awesome in their own right, while 2's is more dark and looming, 3's adds a little more crazy and tension (while still retaining parts of the dark and looming). I fucking love Kenji Yamamoto for making such godly music, now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna fap to Emperor Ing 2 battle music.

Even on Corruption, she wasn't too tough. At least, not for me. I just slapped on a strategy I use for Dark Samus in MP2:E; Charge, hide somewhere, wait for an attack, FIRE! It was easiest to avoid her Phazon Power Beam, and the pillars she summoned made it easier to use my tactics. But yeah...if you're reckless, then she IS an annoying *****!

I like this one personally. It's got some crafty editing going for it. When I made my version (which coincidentally was around the same time you uploaded yours), I didn't know about this one. Then I saw it and thought "Whoa". It inspired mine to have more flair than my first version (which was basically the two tracks sandwiched together.)

The reason Prime 3's music is more humdrum could be the Prime 3 music team was getting their big break. They said with more space available in Wii games for better quality sound effects they worked long and hard to bring forth the finished product heard in Prime 3 and as a result provoked the entire fanbase to break their ribs. It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard from Nintendo (or maybe just the Prime team; there's other stuff Nintendo has done), but it could've been worse.. ^_^;

Well to put it simply, I thought that the new instruments added in were not balanced properly, thus drowning out most of the actual song. Maybe it has to do with the speakers you have, but I just find that damn piano WAY too loud.
