You don't need Astro. I use Dolphin Browser HD (which is essentially is the same thing as Chrome). When you download something, it sends you to a downloads page, and when it's finished downloading just click on the file, than click on install and you're done.

SpeedX was the free app he downloaded! To download the free app of your choice, you go to 4shared, type in .apk and then the name of the app after .apk. Example: .apk angry birds

Help Please! "Install blocked... cannot install apps..."

I followed your instructions, downloaded astro file manager through the market place, went to 4shared on the htc inspires browser, downloaded lockbotpro, but when it goes to install i get a message that says "INSTALL BLOCKED; FOR SECURITY YOUR PHONE IS SET TO BLOCK INSTALLATION OF APPLICATIONS NOT OBTAINED FROM ANDROID MARKET", then gives me options of settings or cancel... i clicked setting but don't see anything useful to change
