I played this in a high school band once, and so our teacher told the drummer that we needed a more Latin feel, explaining, "This is Children of Sanchez, not Children of Prague!"  But the various pictures here kinda look like Children of Everywhere.

@DerekNebel They're both called guitars. If I use your analogy, it's like saying a Trombone is a different type of trumpet, simply because the word "Trombone" means "large trumpet". Which it isn't just like a flugelhorn isn't. They're related, but not the same instrument at all.

@DerekNebel There is a big difference between flugelhorn and a trumpet. You can hear if something is played by a trumpet or a flugelhorn within a second, because they sound completely different. A flugelhorn has a much softer, rounder and warmer sound than a trumpet, which is sharper and more direct. The solo in this particular piece requires a flugehorn, because it doesn't sound as good with a trumpet. The same that other pieces require a trumpet, because they don't sound good with a flugelhorn

Actually sir, my father played both trumpet as well as flugelhorn and wes a still having ze trumpet asvell as the flugelhorn. You offond me and my family sir cause we are a family of trumpters and if I am correct a flugel horn is extremely hard distinguish from a trumpet besides it sounding a bit different,senior halabinono. Think about things before you go about talking ( or in this case typing). Why ye have to hate son? Why in the nine hells do ye have to hate?!

Chuck was commissioned to write the score of their movie "Children of Sachesz". The photos are from the work up toward the movie. The movie was shelved for years by the producers before it was finished. The pictures seem to reflect what the movie was to be about. Chuck seemed to be all in favor of the theme and concept of the movie. We all have out oun idea about "The Evening of Magic" Too bad we can't find any video of the Hollywood Bowl concert.

When Chuck wrote this song, the Dominican Republic of Sanchez not fighting. The pix of the Chinese, CZech, Bosnian, and all of the African kids with guns is pure fiction to this region of the world. As well, if you look at the maker of the video's comments he is only commenting on the music and instrumentation of the musicians involved with which I agree. The video pictures of the children is not real to this location.

cad, you don't seem to get that the pictures of kids with guns is pointing out yet another sad way to treat children. It's an expose, not a glorification of, the militarization of youth. Which by the way, is what nearly all the shows on Cartoon Network and all the video games my 6 yr olds want is about. Making violence and weapons seem like a part of everyday life.
