If the water run was shorter, or if you would've added some water jets to move the boat along. Could we of been looking at the intended type of splash?
I think they have too much water in the pool because the boat completely stops before it even makes it half way across. Maybe thats why there was a bigger splash.
This is just my theory but i think it was also because when they have water rushing down the slide, it raises the little cart thing up a little so it doesnt dip down the front end into the water as much. That was what i was thinking i could be wrong though.
It is so not worth the wait. i rode it yesterday. its a 45 minute wait for a 15 second ride! its stupid and you have water going in your eyes the whole way down
one of my friends got stuck at the top for 45 minutes! He said he was a nervous wreck up there and didnt like climbing down the ladder, but he got 4 free passes from it!
The water is maybe a couple inches too high. I think it is mainly a poor boat design. This is still not as big of a splash as they had estimated and it happens way too soon. They are looking for a splash this big or bigger about 10-15 feet farther.
@whoaemileigh Family parks can't have steel coasters?! Have you heard of Disney World, Six Flags, Busch Gardens, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, any other theme park? They are all family places. What you said is absolutely ridiculous. They can't get a certain type of coaster because it's a family park? They can, they are just choosing not to. It being a "family" park has nothing to do with it.
Please remember...that video was taken on the first day of testing. That's what testing is for ... lots of fine-tuning takes place. It's part of the process--no worries!
Gee, that did hit the water pretty hard. The fact that it came to a dead stop, is not good. I think, it needs more of a track lead into the water, otherwise it will never open.
I wonder what the owners of the park think about this. It does not look like it went well.
Watch when the boat hits the water at 17 seconds. It levels out, hits the water, makes a short and painful looking jump, hits the water again hard, starts to really slow down then pretty much stops.
thats what the splash should have been like
BradzizAwsom 7 months ago
Thats stupid, because without the water on the drop it makes the splash bigger.

why not give it a 95 angle down? it would be awesome.
havik82 1 year ago
Why didn't they keep the water like that so it splashes sooner and higher?
PaintballHazard 2 years ago
When it hit the water, there was soooo much force that it would hurt the riders and wouldn't be as pleasent as it is now.
If you see, the boat hits the water really hard, which isn't good.

They could just lower the water level and see how that works out.

LOL... I see it needs a little adjustment and maybe a more gradual entry into the water so nobody gets whip-lashed...
