joan you go gurl you are looking good and you are trying so fook all the haters they are so unhappy in there own lives that they have to cause misery to other people who in essence are better than them coz they are getting on with it so ignore the haters just feel sorry for them i do lol good job your videos are cool xxx dee uk xxx
Ignor the ignoramus who would criticize. Good for you. You are articulate, accurate, and encouraging. Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing your story!
Why don't you give the facts about metabolic rate? Not theory but facts.
A person who weighs 160 pounds burns 100 calorie per hour while awake and sitting. A 320 pound person burns 200 an hour just sitting. That means that a 320 pounder uses twice as many calories. Eat at your BMR and you will lose weight.
You need to figure out why you became such a glutton.
You are absolutely correct, little by little. People often take on more than they can handle and get upset when they see no results. You need to work your way up to it. Thanks for posting these videos! Youre an inspiration to me.
Hi Joan! I am glad to see you again! You look good, little less worried, i am glad.
Yes i agree it may take a lot time but needs to be done little by little. Life itself is a "little by little" process, we can't be lawyers at age 10, we have to pass some steps till there, but we cannot reach our goal if we stay at a same stage! The motivation is inside us but we are not aware! Think of the baby which does not have any concience of the acts but still insisting learn the first steps!
Shay on the Biggest Loser weighed 484lbs and she gets killed on those intense workouts on the show. If she, and other contestants can do it, so can you! Stay motivated!
someone commenting on fact that you need to get up and move is not being a hater. I would call that constructive criticism. You don't have run a mile on a treadmill to get up and move. Try going for a 30 minute walk 3 times a week! Someone at your weight should lose more than 48 pounds since January . I was 289 on April 15th and on Oct 1st I was 223. This is all because of diet & EXERCISE! Do what you can handle but please don't stop no matter how hard it is.
Never give up....I like that motto - very positive. I remember when I could hardly even walk five minutes on the treadmill. I kept on telling myself it was at least five minutes more than NOT doing it. Slowly improved and did what my body could allow while not causing injury. Little steps turn into big steps.
Hi Joan, I just watched your video tonight, and I see you uploaded in 2009.. I'm interested to know where you are today.. thanks, Victoria

For those who care, Balldez is a shameless promoter of pro-anorexia.
Don't listen to him; he's very confused.

It's great to see you posting videos again... I do miss the updates.
You're looking much thinner than your first couple of posts, much more energetic and happier.
We're with you, Joan!

I firmly believe you don't need to exercise to lose weight. I did it and continue to do it. I didn't want to hurt myself by exercising and didn't.
I can now exercise and am very limber, I am so happy I decided to wait to exercise. I lost almost 100 pounds before I joined the gym.
