  • God I feel the same way. Hardly even go to the forums anymore, cause it already feels like the community is slipping somewhat. Might consider getting MHP3rdG IF its announced...but if they keep fucking this up, I'm just going to stay with the originals and remember the good times

  • Capcom is really slipping! What are they going to do next, change the MC in DMC or cancel Mega Man legends 3?

  • It's really sad T_T

  • I enjoyed Tri for a while but it had no balls. Monster hunter was challenging and thats why i still boss Unite from time to time (with help of your Bowgun Compendium :D)

  • New MH games are still hard-as-fuck for newbies, not for us because we've been playing it for a long time, the only thing it changes it's the platform.

Also, the lock-on thingie is not that bad, it just centers the camera... Unline God Eater, when Monster Hunter becomes God Eater, THEN we are fucked.

  • Man, I had to laugh hard a few times.

  • Look at the line-up,Vita is going towards the "Call of Gears of Modern Battlefield Duty" direction to cater to US gamers.

  • @BafflinBook They are all casual games that are on the Vita, but that doesn't really change my point that the direction of the series is getting more casual.

  • You know what I'm really pissed about MH? What we should always be pissed? That every game that comes out feels like the last, that it never comes overseas. We're ranting over a game that never came out of Japan to begin with, CAPCOM already won by default anyway.

  • I don't mind the 3DS(they can always turn to vita later) or the lock-on but other than that, can't believe I'm saying this, yeah, totally agree with Hitler there XD

  • man...i really wanted to play underwater in the psp...had high hopes that p3rd would have them...but now its only the nintendo consoles which have the swimming and hunting quests...aah would be so much fun in the psp...i'm sure capcom will not have much success in this game like they had in p3rd...oh well...no$gba emulator!!! save meee!!!!!!!

  • Hey, MoparMan94 here, and I thought this was really funny. The tickle part was clever! Stupid stylus gaming is retarded!

  • XD I've seen so many different versions of these "Hitler ranting" that I wouldnt expect there to be one for MH!?!?! lol great video, had me cracking up :D I h8 the fact for my to be my self as a hardcore monster hunter that I had to go from my psp to wii n now 3ds? oh well tho, i'll still get it. one thing did caught my attention tho in dis video, idk if it was ment as a joke but was that 1 part about "lock on" true? D:

  • @FIy019 Yeah, there really is a lock on button. You tap it to re-center the camera on the monster rather than keep it locked on.

  • @mazereon completely understandable. Everyone has there own opinions. And yes, monster hunter would rock the gameboy!

  • @kawila17 I totally agree with you. I don't care what platform this game is, it will always be a good game. You People who are hating on it because of what console is used, capcom are trying to bring a more diverse amount of people into playing the game. I think it's a good move. And mh4, while it does look a little out there, looks as good as the rest. I know many people who have wanted the back-stabbing thing in since the first mh. And while it seems wrong, is that not the point of the game?

  • @acsxcougar Really? So if it was on Gameboy it'd still be good? People aren't hating on it just because of the 3DS thing, there's a lot more going on than that. And it's cool that you like the direction of MH4, but you have to understand that different people like different things, and MH4 is something many MH fans don't like.

  • MH4 made me feel pathetic once I saw all that parkour in the trailer. And backstabbing the monster is just cheap. Monster Hunter is HUNTING the monster face to face, and not fighting like a pussy.

  • @TheMiscripedia

Yeah, you should watch the opening of the other MH games before talking, then.

  • "tickle the damn monster to death" lmao

I've been seeing this kind of reaction to MHTriG being put on the 3DS, and its sad really. I appreciate the MH series despite the platform it's on.

  • Ehhh...most of the MH games (apart from the retarded attempts at making super-hard enemies that are found on Frontier - uhhh Dread Rathian, I rest my case) much of the difficulty was due to the game's flaws - terrible hit detection, badly designed areas and how the camera messed up as you went anywhere near a wall. MHTri -did- cause a ton of kids to enter the franchise, as seen since, well, start to present. As for the trolling GameFAQs part, Lance vs Gunlance argument anyone? =P

  • LOL the 3DS online features wont even be used XD

  • lol i like this haha. they poked fun all around to an unfitting theme haha XD. i also like the flashy shooter casual gamer reference haha! i will miss if monster hunter becomes too easy from the original. i dont think thats gonna happen though so props for the vid man keep um coming!

  • I understand this is a comedy video, but there are people seriously acting like this is the end of the world. This is one of the most impressive-looking Monster Hunter games to date, but people are bitching because it's not coming out on a specific system that would make the graphics slightly better (don't bring up online; Capcom is the one being lazy about that shit, it's not hardware limitations). It's gotten only easier because hitboxes have been fixed and there's less bullshit OHKO monsters.

  • Just to clarify in the "lock on". It is just an option that can be turned of. All it is is a feature where when you press the L button it focuses the camera on the monster instead of the player, its not really a lock on. And also, believe it or not, the 3D CAN BE TURNED OFF.

  • The funny part is, even

"the one thing to take from this nightmare" - 3DS online mulitiplayer capabilities -

    will not be used.....

    :(

  • @Jackanape14 I'm glad someone picked up on that joke too :)

  • @mazereon I realize that, I was talking to the people whining about the game in the comments. (no offense to the whiners)

  • Monster Hunter Tri is the only Wii game that made the controller awesome.

  • LMAO! Well done!

  • 0:00

  • I for one, am actually LOOKING FORWARD to TriG. You guys should really just quit whining and stfu! You don't know if it's gonna suck or not!

  • @DarthPerry1157 You might notice this is a "comedy" video, champ.

  • Man I remember when the Vita was revealed.

It was like it was MADE for Monster Hunter.

    So many possibilites wasted.

Seriously heads need to roll at Sony for fucking them selves in the ass this hard.

    Good god

  • You should fly to Tokyo and show them this...

  • I agree with u maze! Capcom needs to cut the crap and stick with PlayStation systems and relook they're freaking fan base. We like the game when its difficult cuz its a lot more satisfying when you kill something you couldn't before!!! But great vid, made me laugh!

  • egh, this is really how i felt and im a bit sad but mostly worried for the future of monster hunter. Then i think, well this series was so amazing AND successful (in japan) did we really think it could stay pure forever ;s.

  • 2:56 "Don't worry - we can still troll GameFAQs."

    That made me lol

  • EVIL...and too easy. Besides that, the game looks amazing, just listen to the fans pleas and you'll be all right Capcom.

  • Capcom needs to watch this..or at the very least, LISTEN TO THE FANS. without the fans, you are nothing. and if you anger the fans, you will be trolled about on the internet to the 10th degree. I'm thinking the D-pad camera looks fine, and the "lock-on" is optional, so Im not enraged by that. However, if there is no online play. I will have given up. But looking at the sea side city, there is. Hopefully... and I take back what I said, please no lock on like thing in the game plz. thats just.....

  • I didn't know about the lock on until now, and I have come from MHF2 as my MH origins, so if it bothers some of you, the don't use the lock on! Seriously, I agree that the 3d funtion can strain your eyes, but at least let the game be released and see what the general reaction is first! And they're only "easing" the difficulty becasue som many people have complained so much in the past about attrocious hit boxes and the like.

  • @Raicun27 no one is opposed to them cleaning up the hitboxes completely and everyone knows thats never what made the bulk of the games difficulty..

  • Pretty boring for me cause i understand every word D: buuuu

  • I hope CAPCOM sees this...

  • monster hunter for 3ds sounds rubbish.. i mean i cant even afford a 3ds for mh3G :(

  • I admit, I'm really excited for the game, but I still find this hilarious!

    Nice job, Maze :P

  • oh god... and now MH 4 for 3DS , WATHA THE F**CAPCOM D::

  • Lololol GOLD.

  • Everyone is mad

  • To be fair, street fighter is probably Capcom's legacy.

  • if no monster hunter that will come to the U.S for the 3DS or Vita , Phantasy Star Online 2 will get my money

  • @KamenRiderBlackSun Yeah, good luck getting online, lol sega netcode.

They have monster hunter Portable 3rd HD for the PS3 as well, but hey lets not localize the good stuff huh Capcom?

  • what happened to the lets play?

  • @victoryX4 It's coming! I just haven't gotten around to it is the honest answer. I need to do a bunch of quests and got sidetracked. I'll do it and post it in a little while.

  • haha so funny

  • Comment removed

  • wtf who needs lock on? Oh wait... people who don't use claw. It's become like second nature to me it feels unnatural not using it :/

  • @CaptClaymor hold it right there. i clocked about 500+ hours and i never clawed.

analog + L button is more than enough for me to look around the field.

  • @luxollidd My friend does that too idk how he can stand it

  • Lolololololololololololol

  • :( I don't like this at all:/

  • what about the vita? wasnt there suppose to be something for that as well or is that for portable 3rd only? Seems odd for them to go back and forth with which system itll be on. Not sure how much this will affect us, but i hope snow will reveal to us soon what we the north americans are getting.

  • Lol Lock-on.

  • do you know the release date?

  • LMFAO! i think i pee'd a little.. >.<

  • How dare Youtube Lie about no one I know not posting anything. D=< I saw this on Facebook and got a huge Laugh. It is really funny that I know kind of what they are saying in German. Also that like 4-6 people of his Army started out no in the newer Games. XD

  • Tickel the monster to death lol. this is sad .

  • i do agree about this really makeing us buy a new system thats not nearly the correct system for a MH game. I think monster hunter should have a difficulty setting u put at the beggining of the game (instead of these stars and sizes and ranks) so causal and hardcore gamers alike could play it so they can expand there market more effectivly while getting more money for a westren realease for there games

  • This is pretty weird watching when you're actually German. =/

You read the subtitles but you know what he's saying.

    :|

  • There's fucking lock on in Tri G?

Wow, the more I hear about this the less I want it to happen. Next thing you know, we'll have "leveling up" and regenerating health, and only longswords. Fuck, Capcom. What the hell are you smoking?

  • @Auribro There's some confusion about whether it's a button that centers you on the monster or a different mode that constantly locks on, but either way they're clearing dumbing down the game.

  • 100% agree Capcom must've had some Exciteshrooms.

  • i agree with maze

  • I disagree with you Maz. You also are hating on something without having done research. There isn't lock on, its a target camera and its optional. The second circle pad is optional, there is a virtual D-pad on the touch screen. This also means that you don''t have to claw the 3ds. Also saddly enough WiFi isn't confirmed yet.

  • @navolas2 Actually, I have done research, and before you accuse me of hating, you should note you're watching a "Comedy" labelled video. The Japanese text for the new camera thing is "targetting camera" and you toggle it on or off. Tapping the button will either keep the camera locked to the monster, or it'll briefly lock to the monster with a tap - but either way, it LOCKS ON to the monster. There's a litany of issues with the new console choice beside that feature, too.

  • This, is the best video ever.

  • I wish capcom would just let me play frontier so I can ignore all of this bullshit and not import a 3ds :/

  • @BejaminKuruga

Yessir. Totally agreed. And of course MHFO, too.

  • @NeithLeonhart MHFU had monster FROM MHFO :)

  • wow that really sucks for MH

  • @latintiger Freedom Unite is IMO, the best.

  • No point in bitching about it until you play it. Odds are, you don't have to use the extra control stick & you can turn off this supposed "lock on"

Just incase everyone doesn't know . This is local wireless only, not WIFI .

  • @Panzer4mk. You don't have to use the extra control stick. There is a virtual D-pad on the touch screen for camera control. The Target Camera is optional and can be turned on or off.

And its local wireless confirmed. Nothing has been said about the WiFi at this point.

  • @navolas2 Touch screen could be interesting..... right side to rotate camera left side for Items? Or , I wonder if you could use a control scheme that uses L & R to rotate the camera and part of the right side for up and down. Wait and see I guess..... until then I think everyone needs to chill on the negativity.

  • This is exactly how I reacted when heard the news. These are indeed dark times when I agree 100% with hitler.

  • I hate it to discuss in english, but now I want to: first, tolles video, do you understand german? second: I think we were all afraid when we heard that MH3 would be for the wii, at least I was, cause I didnt want to swing the wii controller to hit the monster, but the controlls had the old style and I think they wont make it diffrent with the 3ds, at least I really hope they wont. third: yes, the clawing will be a really big problem, thumbs down nintendo...

  • @IDunn0011 I played every kingdom hearts game with out locking on I thought lock on was anoying. Just because something is there does'nt meen you need to use it. I own 2 lawn mowers it does'nt meen I use them both

  • @IDun0011 I did I love the 3ds if the 3ds is gimicy than the vita is a toy. The 3ds has a touch screen, gyroskope and 3d. Minus the 3d the vita has all of this and that rediculus touch pad on the back... (On the back seriously?)

  • @jonehidOgmail I've yet to see a game where 3d really pays off

kojima said something about depth coming into play in a mgs3 remake for the 3ds, but until then it really is just a gimmick

the touch is screen is great for some games, but hardly suitable for action ones, where your hand obscures half the screen.

phantom hourglass and spirit tracks suffered from this, starfox command did not.

touch pads on the back actually make a lot of sense, your fingers are already there...

  • @jonehidOgmail lastly the gyroscope.

Once again, this seems to be part of the generation of wiimotes, kinects and playstation moves.

They are interesting features, but as any game having used them will show, they don't belong in the traditional games. Heavy Rain, move/kinect games, sport/fitness games and sports are all fun, but there really is a limit to how many of those you'll buy. They seem more like experiments.

Which I'm all for, but for christ sake don't saturate the market with that crap

  • i couldn't give a damn about lock-on because you can switch it off, only problem in my opinion is the extra analog and the 3DS being region locked -,-

i'm actually suprised that nobody has said much about you saying that the 3DS is a gimmick system, that made me dislike you a little bit

  • @IDunn0011 The 3d function is a gimmick, I stand by that. It doesn't enhance gameplay, it sucks the already average battery life down further and it gave me a headache after three minutes of playing on it.

  • @mazereon I do see your point but they haven't focused much on the 3D to be fair, it sucks that you can't see the 3D though i'm always perfectly fine with it :S the charging cradle was pretty useful for the battery life thing i just put it on there after use it, if you don't use it i would recommend you do :)

  • @mazereon I personally don't think its a gimmick. If used subtly It changes the look and feel of the game. Ive had no trouble with head aches with extended play (no more than I would with a PSP for example). I also have astigmatism and wear glasses. I guess boils down to each individual person and their experiences.

  • @Panzer4mk Well, I guess your mileage may vary. I can only talk to my personal experience with that console. I enjoyed playing a game in 3D in terms of the neat effect, but it did make my head spin and I'm pretty sure most players will end up turning it off after a few hours in order to save battery life.

  • I'm glad, I already got a 3da for kh and kid icarus. not only that but tri was my favorite I loved underwatter combat

  • Did I read that right "no pokemon for psp" pokemon.is first party its a nintendo game same as god of war is for sony first party. God of war will never be on nintendo and vice virsa. You guys need to grow.up a new mh game is a good thing no matter what system its on. When mh dynamic came to ios I didn't cry about it not being on android I was glad. It expanded the fan base and that's a good thing no matter what it streagthens the chance of mh games coming to other systems GROW UP.

  • I do hope Capcom won't let the legendary MH franchise turn into a everybody's casual shit. MHTri initiated the whole thing.

  • I did not disagree with anything said in that video

  • capcom should really see this video.

  • Goodbye monster hunter, nice knowing ya =,(

BTW great vid mazereon, I feel your pain =S

  • In my day, we got beaten to a pulp while desperately trying to stay alive against the Demon Diablos, and that was at high rank and not G rank.

Nowadays you kids get it easy with your two cats that actually help you instead of hindering you and now a F***ing lock on system

  • So true...quit babying the newbs and let them work hard and gain experience like the rest of us. THAT's the reason it's a RPG with no levels..the character doesn't improve instead the player gets more skilled. ALL games should be similar in my opinion. At first i hated it now I love it knowing certain skills/armor/weapons/ and even players are better on specific monsters.

  • @KaiserVTV Yup, but a 2nd analogue stick ain't exactly a bad thing :D

  • It's still damn funny :'D

    Made my day ^_^

  • Awesome awesome awesome. Finally a Monster Hunter parody of Downfall. I've been waiting for this day... ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • subtiles are sooo wrong x'D

    but awesome tho

  • Especially after the community has been so outspoken lately, you would think that Capcom would at least give the western hunters a nod... Instead of a shit-on-the-chest.

  • Lol funny, I agree in some points, like the lock on and other stuff but I think that it’s a little selfish to say that releasing a game that is just an upgrade of a previous one, that has the features that the old one didn't have but a ton of the psp ones did, is that such a bad move done by capcom, to let the people that don’t have Sony handhelds share the fun?

  • haha this is hilarious

  • Here is some news. The supposed "lock on" is just a touch screen button that when you press will move your camera to the monster's current location, much like the button that puts it behind your character. Unless you have a machine that constantly taps that button for you, lock-on is nonexistent.

  • @Joeyst3 I'd be glad if you're right, but the Japanese text actually says "Targetting camera" and you toggle it on or off. Here's hoping I'm reading it wrong.

  • @mazereon He is right. It just makes the "L" turn to the monster instead of behind the hunter. So for those who didn't want to use it they don't have to.

  • Nice one maze, though you might want to add 'hitler parody' to the tags :D

  • Have to call you on one thing Maze, there's always been plenty of kids ruining the forums. =P

  • @ShadKats Touche :D

  • @ShadKats Especially if these kids are near their 30 XD

  • you know my wife is always saying hey you just bought that game shaun and you beat it in 3 days...... yup and i wasted 30 bucks.....but with monster hunter freedom or 2G i played that forever and i still play it....and ive noticed that mhp3rd did get alittle easier like not as much falling down when a monster bumps you and the highest raw damage on a weapon is under 300 you know what i mean it just got alittle easier and if you want a challenge you have to use the switch axe.

  • Damn that was awsome Maze you did a damn good job on this video....man that sucks that tri g is gonna be on 3ds......... And there is gonna be lock on....... thats where shit hits the fan LoFL that got me and my wife rolling....my wife said now she can play monster hunter LoL

  • lol i actually started with tri, but the ai of tri monsters is much more advanced than the older games and monsters in the old games were very easy to bait right? in my opinion tri is around a same level of dificulty than that of FU. you probably think im wrong but there were alot of bugs with the old games

  • I thought it was just a button to just centre the camera on the monster, not an actual lock-on. Yes they sound the same, but what I mean is different. I believe it only momentarily puts the camera on the monster, just to show you where it is. I didn't think the camera actually stayed on the monster. Anyway I won't be using it and you can customize what the touch screen shows so that there isn't an option for you in the first place.

  • Gaming needs more pampering of the casuals. Just so companies can sell more, you know.

I forgot to add sarcasm tags.

  • Gaming needs more pampering of the casuals. Just so companies can sell more, you know.

  • Wow maze this is really good. XD

  • lol auto lock will just make the game ultra lame!!! i think capcom cant play mh themselves....wish the next psp game wont have auto lock....just spoilin the real fun of da game! even the wii version was kinda fun...IF ANY OF U GUYS HAVE A 3DS...DONT BUY THE GAME! MAKE CAPCOM REALIZE THEY HAVE DONE A MISTAKE!!!

  • @Tunir007 you mean like when they canceled Megaman and their stocks plunged from losing so many fans?

  • @Tunir007 No ty I won't to play tri again it imo was better than 3rd for 2 reasons it had lagi and it had mbg that makes it better than p3rd already for me

  • @123Elderdragon thats wut i said..tri was kinda good but this 3ds will suck!

  • @Tunir007 No it won't tri fans will be happy to see a remake of the game which many people started MH on and was by far the most ccesible monster hunter game by far it will be localized and even if kids do play online it doesn't matter cause making monster hunter more popular will be better and I shall be happy to see great armours like Helios and Lagiacrus make a return will be great and purple sharpness will return all I'm seeing is a better game which will be just as addictive as tri with hrs

  • @123Elderdragon its the autolock which is gonna spoil new hunters!! else we got no probs...there will be new mh videos by noobs even retards can finish with their eyes closed..just spoiling the main fun of the series...

  • @Tunir007 No What's is gonna spoil it is no online play I was just reading on Monster hunter wiki that it is limited to lcal play only none of my mates play Monster Hunter they better change it or this will be the worst MH game ever!

  • @123Elderdragon yea that too...this aint fair! mh goes to ds but pokemon doesnt come to psp!! atleast we still have god of war on psp...and i just want mhp3rd western release...so fuck this tri g...hope no one buys this shit!

  • @Tunir007 Lol people are going to buy it.

It's a expansion of Monster Hunter 3. It has G features.

It has all the weapons in the series, it has lots of monsters returning, and more.

    You just mad bro.

  • @o3killu noobs who cant kill a kut ku like the nuby gamespot who gave freedom unite a 6.5 r gona buy it...nd yeah on the possitive sides..it is a g version...thats gona be cool

  • @Tunir007 Noobs who can't kill a Kutku and Noobs who CAN kill a Kutku will buy the game.

If they don't buy it, they'll pirate it.

G version of anything is awesome.

  • @123Elderdragon well theres more to the mh community than just mh tri fans. (which was my least favourite in the mh series yet) just watch the video, mazereon names it all: lock on will suck, touchpad will suck, difficulty will suck (too easy), community will suck, forums will suck (even more), youtube lets plays will suck. sounds pretty bad to me :(

  • @brutalclanc Yes many things will suck it may be easier but I'm sure the lock on is optional I hate forums anyway so I don't care about that I think let's plays of Monster Hunter are pretty stupid too and will it really be easy it is still a G rank game more monsters will be announced these monsters could be difficult all in all we don't know enough about this game to truly criticise it so can we just wait until we find out more before we start saying I'm not gonna play it just give it a chance.

  • @Tunir007 Just make an anti lock on thread in Capcom Unity forums. They read the forums. Not buying it would hurt capcom and probably convince them that Monster IS UNABLE to please western audiences and stop releasing mh games.

  • Monster hunter with lock seems like a terrible crime for the series. I have no other issues though with the other features since it just uses the 3ds hardware. I hope they decide to put online into the game even if it requires friend codes and don't nerf the monsters any further. Nice video Mazereon you made my day.

  • I remember when MH wasn't full of elitist faggots.

  • @Bman0517 I think you're remembering wrong.

  • @mazereon he's remembering right, MH tri is full of elitist who are very well stuck up and way too proud of themselves

  • @HitosumeGiant He's saying he remembered when it WASN'T full of elitists, and I'm saying he's remembering wrong - ie, it's always been like this.

  • @HitosumeGiant a little someone on the Eu servers named mert is a perfect example of this, you know him?

  • @TheInfernalDemons not at all im on the us servers so i might never even meet him

  • I just now heard about the lock on... I agree with Hitler on this one, and I never thought I would ever say that.

  • Fucking amazing XD but I agree huge mistake by capcom nintendo is not the way to go for that style of gaming

  • hitler used ALL CAPS RAGE!!!

  • Ahahahahahahahaha, this is the best thing I've seen all week.

    Fucking A Maze, fuckin' A.

  • super funny

  • Holy shit that was hilarious.

  • Well I need to change my pants now. Yea, I wish capcom would stay loyal to at least one system, or at max a console and a system, but for a loyal fan base to have to bounce around from console to console, especially in this economy is just not reasonable.

  • this is the funniest thing ive seen all day thanks for doing this

  • im glad i didnt have to leave the room lol

  • No online. Seriously I knew about the regon locking but comon

  • @mazereon It's POSSIBLE, I will agree, that they are just trying to manage their fans (especially with MML3 recently, no one really is happy with Capcom atm). However, it's also just possible they want to make sure it will do well in Japan before they go releasing a game that might not manage there, here, especially since Tri did terrible in Japan in the first place.

  • I. Love. This.

  • "Don't worry - we can still troll GameFAQs."

  • Can someone pls share with me why the 3ds is so bad the graphics are a step above psp and the vitaa has a touch screen also aside from the lack of 2 anoligs I don't see a problem.

  • @jonehidOgmail The issue isn't so much the 3DS for me as much as the other problems - no online, region locked, no English release. At least with PSP you can import Japanese games, but I don't want to buy a new Japanese console that I'll probably only play one game on.

  • @mazereon the 3ds has online what r u talking about no onlinee

  • @Cadetdude It HAS online capability, but it's not being used for Tri G. That's confirmed on the official website - local only, unless they change that by TGS.

  • @mazereon Where has it been said that it is not getting a release in English?

  • @paceetrate It's in the official release. Google or Andriasang for source, I can't post links in YT comments :/

  • @mazereon m'kay, thanks.

  • i think the people disliking the video are the 3ds users lol xD
