But NOW(2012 dB) you can play as Tails in the Sonic CD 2011 remake after complete gameplay in Sonic's side of his story in Sonic CD.

Imagine if you spent most of your life coming up with a character and idea and gameplay style, and someone just makes a better one? It's much easier for the next person because all they have to do is copy what SEGA did, and take out what they didn't like, which is much easier than making the original... I would be very, very annoyed if someone did this to me.

The music is from a game named Riystar and the way his star points stick out make him look like Sonic. Ristar was probably the influence to Wherehog Sonic because of his stretchy arms and very slow movement.

I have a folder that is 3.55 gigabytes of nothing but fan made Sonic games excluding Blitz Sonic and hacked games. Out of all of them, I find myself consistently playing Sonic Before The Sequel and this Sonic After The Sequel demo a lot. You put a lot of effort into your work. So much so that I can honestly say that I enjoy them more than the originals. On top of that, you are one of the few that actually completed your fan game and to my surprise, you plan on making this sequel. Much respect.

The first was (is, still haven't managed to finish it yet) great, and I played *tons* of Sonic remakes. Sonic BTS is a rare pearl that actually keeps the Sonic feel in level design, and manages to add something new as well. Can't wait for the sequel!
