  • hay ich manual has 9 drawbars right? but what are other 9 drawbars for upper and lo9wer manual?

  • Hhahaha everyone's a dick to this guy

  • I notice that the bass pedals are missing. It appears in all the video's that you are a keyboard player only. Don't teach what you don't no.

  • Hello great video. I have a concord and was wondering if I could play Booker T style or Steve winwood style? If you or anyone could help I thank you

  • What model of Hammond is that? Looks similar to my A-100, except for the Leslie speaker. Also, did you remove the pedal board? It looks like you were moving the organ with one of those special dollys they make for them.

  • @tempetiger it's a C3, though the A105 has a similar cabinet.

  • oh my gosh it's a leslie cabinet

  • ahaha he looks like jack black of Tenacious D!

  • Keith Emerson. Best Hammond player of all time.

  • The song u played at the end, reminded me about "house of rising sun"

  • Would be nice if the TYPE set did'nt over shadow what he is doing!

  • Be Great! if the text did'nt get in the way of the video!

  • O my!! The Rhodes moron have acess to a Hammond too. As we say in portuguese: "God doen't really gives no wings to snakes..."

  • @stonelenny wow, great portuguese accent!

  • very nice vid, thanks

  • ...what happened to the pedalboard?

I can pretty much learn from anyone by taking what they said and manipulating it into such a way that I get the most out of it. Some people just are not skilled at communicating ideas.

  • what are the black keys?

  • @ElFlakoRompanTodo Presets, like instead of having to pull the drawbars while you play, you just push one of those really fast to change the tone in a song.

  • cool - thanks for the demo - the Hammond is a classic !

  • Great sound but what a pain in the ass to lug around to gigs back in the day man!! Musicians were part time weight lifters back then.

  • I love this fantastic Keyboard^^

  • You guys should post longer clips--seems all your clips are less than 3 minutes!

  • LOL skin flute XD

  • Rick Wright is my favorite Hammond Organ player...

  • @SephynnXx Me too, and I want remember John Lord and his hammond sound!

  • lee michaels is also a great player...

  • @SephynnXx

He was definably a badass Organist..

    may he Rest In Peace...

  • @SephynnXx his rich

  • looks like this guy is pretty knowledgable on the skin flute as well.

  • What is skin flute??

  • LOL

  • skin flute is the scientific term for a trouser snake

  • yeah that shit kicks ass! whats even more complex is those huge pipe organs in churces with like 9 sets of keys and a hundred bazillion drawbar things on the sides haha I wanna play one of those! I'd like a hammond too tho that thing is awesome

  • OMFG!!! u need to be almost a jet mechanical to play a hammond!! i give up!! i'll keep playin' my guitar!! i don't wanna be Lord anymore!!! ushduashduas

  • lol these videos make it look harder than it is its really simple

  • once i've played an electric one...with 10 of that "keys" over the keyboard...10 X 0 hammond...

  • Thank You

  • If you already know about Hammond organs you should skip these videos and look somewhere else. I wish these videos where available when I was first hooked on Keith Emerson years ago.

  • great video. i like how you explain things, simple and plain. great.

  • yeah, this isn't a lesson, it's an orientation.

as a shitty hammond player, i'm all for people being made aware of this great instrument, but i was looking for lessons:(

  • Hammind organ kicks ass! The best organ ever! no one can do it better! One question? I don't have a hammond, trying to earn up to it, but what happens to the note if you hold 2 presets down? Hold both of them down? Or more than one preset? I know what they do, but does every preset gives a different sound?

  • sounds like you don't actually 'know what they do', because you're asking some weird questions.

they only work one at a time. they're not designed to be depressed together. one releases the other.

  • Ok, thanks, but I know what they do, I just wanted to know if it was possible to hold two presets together. I know when you press it down it stays down, and when you press the C key it all resets the presets...

  • who is this guy? i want to hear him playing some songs on this instrument. the little parts he uses as examples sound really nice already.

  • It says music theory lesson not practical man.... so he doesnt need to play anything to give a comprehensive 'theory' lesson. worrrrrd

  • All you idiots who leave bad comments should shut up. No-one gives a fook what you think. If we did we would ask, dude you taught me something i never knew. Thankyou.

  • I disagree. I have been looking just for the concept rather than sloshing through book after book. This guy inspires and you can dig deeper where you need. I like this guys videos a lot. I can't imagine what would make you think he's an asshole (low comment in my opinion).

  • yea sorry man but these videos dont really teach anyone anything. You dont even play rock organ on the videos, let alone teach it.....

  • These videos are completely useless, that guy's an asshole, never says anything useful or interesting, only trivial stuff that is already well known by everyone who's a bit interested in organs. He doesn't even show proper Hammond playing. A total waste of time.

  • FIRST BITCHESESESZRSSRZ!!!!

  • third? lol Good vid though

  • why?
