  • i got a perfect pair of king of spades best feeling :)

  • That would be nice but there's not a legal casino in the world that allows paying or taking with both hands at the same time. PURE BULLSHIT!

  • What r ur biggest pet peeves as being a casino dealer? Oh and fyi, the way we do tips (tokes) is we pool them together (dealers share tokes) and we used to generate 20,000-25,000 a day. We have about 375 dealers now and the toke rate has dropped tremendously here (the drop is like 15,000-17,000 a day now). On average a full time dealer here makes about 600-650 per week. I have heard of dealers making that in one night. lol

  • I like the dealing style its way different from the procedure in the house I work for. I am a dice dealer too and I can only wish that we could pay and take using both hands on bj. It would be so much faster for

    e. ;^). I think the biggest concerns the casinos here have are card placement, talking ur game, and using correct hands to take and pay. Im dealing in Detroit, Michigan btw.

  • Did this action occur in England? In case you didn't notice, the dealer doesn't have a hole card.

  • it must be think of the acent

  • no... I'm assuming it's in burswood australia by the dealers vest.

  • U have to pay 4 boxes from the right with ur right hand the other three on ur left with the left hand ... Not mixing up like that .... no improvisation needed.... And also u keep on adjusting ur cards once u've dealt them .. U are not impressive at all man...

  • I can see this depending on which country you deal in.

In our casino the rule is that box 1 MUST be paid or taken from with the left hand and box 7 MUST be paid/taken with the right hand.

Other than that you can mix it up, which speeds up the game if you have bets of differing denominations. For example, on a $25 table, box 3 is playing $100s and $25s. Using both hands to pay/take speeds up the process dramatically.

The way this dealer is mixing it up is what I'd expect to see here.

  • right ... u'r talking bout situation when u have mixed bets ( 5s 25s 100s ) Im talking about the situation in the clip where apperantly all the chips are the same color ... Im from Bulgaria by the way ...

  • Yeah, it's not a big deal mixing it up as long as you pay box 1 with your left and box 7 with your right.

generally you want to pay box 2 with your left, and box 6 with your right too, which the dealer here does. The middle 3 boxes you use whichever hand you want, not a big deal. The more important thing being that you don't run out of chips and have to keep going back to your float for more.

  • When u mentioned the thing bout "runnin' out o' chips" this thing came up inot my head...

One day I was dealing blackjack and I ran out of 5s... The players didnt want to make any cashout and I had to pay somehow ... :D I payed a box with with 15 leva ( bg currency 3 chips x 5 leva ) by using one 25 chip and by leaving it next to the player's bet I took 2 5s from the box :D It was very confusing .. Hope u understood what I was talking about ;)

  • I've heard of that trick but if we even thought about doing it here we'd get a serious ass-kicking.

If we have no 5s we pay in 25s, 2.50s and 1s...If we run out of those then our inspector/pit boss isn't doing their job and hasn't ordered a float fill soon enough!! Although I haven't even heard of a situation where a dealer was unable to continue paying.

  • how long u've been a croupier and where do u work ?

  • Just 7 months. I work in New Zealand.

  • Im also a beginner ... 6 months ;) cheers m8 .. good luck in ur job and always rob ppl :D

  • You're in Bulgaria?

Come deal in NZ if you want to travel the world :)

And we don't rob anyone mate, they give it to us willingly and happily :)

  • we'll see how the crysis goes .... :D haha

Im still learning ;) But i've been srsly thinking about working abroad this job ;p Im 20 btw

  • our casino has a new dealer intake about every 6 months at the moment.

How much does one earn in Bulgaria? Can you accept tips? Unfortunately here in NZ we cannot.

  • Here it's all about the tips ... There is a fixed salary of 500 hundred $ a month ... The tips is been devided equally to all of the personal ( dealers , waitresses , receptionsits )It's a small casino ... We make 35 - 40 k $ TIPS a month

  • $500 US?

I'd probably make about US$1k (after tax)....but no tips allowed!!

Our waitresses can take tips and they share them equally amongst themselves. This totally defeats the purpose of tips in my opinion. I mean you have a staff member who puts in a lot of effort and another staff member who does the bare minimum just to keep their job....why should they both get equal tips?? You receive tips from customers because they are impressed with YOUR service, not that of someone else!!

  • Sometimes a server gets tips based on their physical beauty. Not fair, but it happens. Tips aren't always dependent on the calibre of the service.

  • It's different here ;) 500 $ is a lot of money ... just the standart of life is different . Equal tips is not so bad man... Here ppl very rarely gove away tips because they come to the casino no t to enjoy themselves but to EARN money (which is quite wrong for the casinos in general) So imagine we have one or three high roller - bg players which are big tippers and me for instance do not have the chance to be his dealer ... I wouldnt get any tips at all...EQual tips is gud here ;)

  • who was your trainer? your damn fast!

  • Some casinos want your left hand on the shoe at all times? Paying bets with both hands at 0:33 seconds was different, or a dice dealers' instinct to pay the pass line. Hmm?

  • Not at all times. You protect the shoe when not taking/paying.

  • you arent cleaning your hands nearly enough

  • Are you allowed to record yourself playing blackjack? Is it worth it for a card counter? If it's a good idea, then how?

  • Its illegal so dont do it, if you do dont let anybody see the camera otherwise you could get yourself into some pretty heavy shit

  • I respect that you know the law. Anyway, what if the casino gave me permission to record the blackjack action at one of tables, just like what you see in the movies and other premiers?

  • Well in the video it sounds like they are paying in the basement so i hardly doubt its the real Casino footage. Casino wont let you record their tables no matter what because they are not willing to take any security risks.

  • It's a training room, obviously.
