  • thanks! this really helped!

  • Wow, these actually are some really good tackles! I think I will use some of them! Thanks :D

  • That stealth tackle is awesome

  • Ugh..I get called for obstruction a lot..

  • Ooh..I really like the Sweep and Stealth tackles! I don't think I've seen those used before--Those are legal, right? I think I'll try those :)

  • I know some U14 girl lumberjacks - mean !

  • on shielding the sweep its a foul by the tackeler cause of tackle from behind. isnt it?

  • NO. A tackler can tackle legally from any direction.

  • Stealth tackle looks gd, might av 2 give that a go on saturday... Thanks! x

  • The lumber jack, even without the extra 'zeal' is almost always going to be a bad ending. No player should come from there doing that.

  • good video but umpires wouldnt rly be abkle to tell to difference in a real game

  • It depends on experience, even at higher level games, the umpires have the game time and knowledge to look for stick blocks. This may be a slow motion clip but briefing videos and umpire training sessions often use real games at normal speed to show how it's done. It's about reading the game and watching the tackles and interpreting the steps taken for the challenge. It may be hard to spot but those that can spot it are the ones who progress.

  • Great! But in the average game, how are umpires ever going to be able to tell.. : /

  • good tactics some are very good

  • V good

  • good umpiring video
