Wow, thank you so much for posting this. These guys are truly an amazing quartet and I love all their music. This was the first time I'd heard their version and its beautiful. Tim does a fantastic job, even if he did have the sniffles.
The Cathedrals were one of the best ever southern gospel quartets ever and I am glad to see some of that crossover into this group.I also see a bit of the statesman in this group as well they all need something to make people remember them , I watch the shows of Statesmaen and that was being very brave back in the 50's. I think this group will go far.
This is old time gospel singing and is a lost art. Ernie learned so much from his time with the Cathedrals and it carries over to this group. The time Tim was able to spend with George was invaluable. I have to agree that their stage preformances can get a tad over the top, but one thing that cannot be denied, entertainers they are.....All in Gods glory.
Ryan made the whole group. sad to see him gone now but he is amazing as a solo to

I love Tim on this, very rich voice, warm tone, he studied with London Parris, isn't it??? God gave him plenty of talent, bless his heart.

See how good they can be when they just stand there and sing?
txlongarm 3 years ago
yea but performance is a huge plus when they are on the stage. Nobody else can perform like signature sound lol

Of course performance can be a plus, but it can also be a negative if taken too far and that's what they're known for.

This is so cool - what a neat look inside what's involved in arranging! Beautiful song!
