Very responsible of you Pondoro... stand there and provoke the lion to charge... one day the lion wont stop and either the lion will be shot or one of your rangers eaten! hopefully the latter... there is a reason why all the top safari operations don't walk big cats with tourists.
@UnKyIsBack well, the lion is 'hunting', so is the tiger.. Of which prey on the weak, slow, and babies... The 'human' hunter seeks out only the large mature males.. Therefore, it would seem that a human 'hunt' would be far more humane than a baby giraffe being ripped to sheds alive by 3 lions..
The are not hunters you dick brain numpty they are tourists with with national park guides and if you would spend less time playing computer games and a bit more time studying the REAL world you might actually learn something!
You call this a mother fucking reserve. I am giving you a stearn warning you fuckers. You set foot in the United States you wont see the light of day. I would of charged your ass and never let you out of my site.
@ponchott I think the guns they have is to just knock them out like not the ones with bullets but the Needle gun I think they are called lol IDK anyways yeah lol
A field guide's job is to educate tourists about the South African bush. Walking in the bush allows us to get closer to the finer details of nature- birds, trees, plants & grasses etc., and a lot of the time it's rare to meet any big animals. Of course, sometimes you do and we are trained to deal with it. Many field guides never have to shoot their gun at an animal in their career; it's only there for a last resort. This guide did well- he let the tourists observe and then soon backed out.
Maybe walk away when he warns you....heck, you wanna take pics, go in the jeep. Lions don't seem to mind that as much....if you are not hunting them, whats the point in pissing them off? .
Humans are trouble makers, they walk unwelcomed on the lion´s turf. I do not see the point why these people attempted such fatal futility. They are wrong.
@1234Molotov I agree lions are not tourist attractions...they are dangerous animals and stupid bitches walking in lion country "armed" with a camera instead of a rifle are asking for it.
@fcukthecigarette dude its not a jungle and these "assholes" put their lives in danger to protest the lions and other wild animals , get your facts right before you judge prick..
What will happen to you when you die? Have you ever told lies, stolen, used God's name in vain, or looked at someone with lust? If yes, then you are a lying, theiving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. When you die & stand before God you'll be guilty of breaking His law. The bible says you'll end up in Hell! But God sent God his Son Jesus to die for your sins, & He rose from the dead on the third day. If you'll believe the Gospel(Jesus died for your sins & was resurrected) you'll be saved!
An Armed Guide on a walking safari in the Kruger Park - NOT......they are NOT allowed. This is in a Private Game Reserve OUTSIDE the Kruger Park. Game I am certain can traverse the whole area in and out of Kruger Park,as the fences between them have been removed, but to claim "in Kruger Park" is misleading. Balule and its constituents (Olifants GR) are a part of the Greater Kruger Reserve, but NOT the Park. Great video however and especially as Guard did not discharge his weapon.
@WildlifeObsessed yes they are allowed!! ive been on one!! 2 guides take 8 people out in the morning for a bush walk!! definatly in the kruger park!! not outside it!!
It was a false charge, the humans out numbered the lion, and wont attack when out numbered. If it was a pack of lionesse, they would be dead and never of seen or heard them coming. 1 shot is not going to stop the lion especially a directly on. Ever tried to shot a lion running directly at you, under 200 meters... good luck.
Mullets like this guide and his guests should be shot. He is intentionally trying to achieve a charge from this animal so that is guests have this "amazing african experience" Its expected the lion will not follow through on the charge, they typically don't. But on the rare occasion they do, it will be shot and the only one to blame is the guide, he could avoid this situation. Do i actually want to kill an animal i supposedly care about and thus get a bigger tip or admire it from a distance
geez. i would probably would have shit my pants and ran away LOL but no offense i really dont think people should do this its so dangerous what would he have done if the lion continued and attacked .. bet you would regret listening to the guy saying "dont run" LOL
It was a false charge to make the people back down... they were pretty stupid actually; it was growling at them for a minute straight and they kept walking towards it
for those of you who are wondering why they didnt run or shoot, its because the lion was testing them or defending territory, if they had ran then the lion would of pursued and takin down their panze asses. they let the lion know that there not afraid and not gonna let it hurt em
The lion was not necessarily testing them, if he wanted to kill them, he would've, he just didn't feel threatened enough. If it decides it wants to kill you, you standing or running really won't make a difference. The lion was older, so odds are it wouldn't have been susceptible to intimidation as perhaps a younger male might be.
i know you're supposed to stand your ground if a Lion charges, but i don't know if it would be as easy once it's happening, i couldn't stand my ground in fron of a rottweiler! lol ,ran lyk a bitch screaminnnnn
I've been to Kruger twice, and this video appears authentic. I wanted to go on the foot tour with a ranger, but those have to be booked way in advance. You were fortunate to have this experience. I'm jealous, lol.
Yes they are saying don't run... Lmao if u had a lion charging at u at 40 + mph would you try and outrun it and aggravate it more. (not being sarcastic)
@EmberToInferno444 ..........i would still run in this circumstance because i know i cannot outrun the lion but i sure can outrun other people standing there.
Did you hear that noise just as the Lion charged, it was the Cameraman doing a shit in his pants. Haaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa walking in the Kruger remains a silly idea, one day.......... someones gonna get seriously dead!

And of course they're prepared to have the animal killed when it reacts in the only way it knows. Hasn't the white man done enough damage?
A great video of some people being afforded the opportunity for a great experience and you have to drag racism into it. i bet you troll youtube and find anything you can to manufacture a negative connection with whites. By the way - if it weren't for "rich whites" supporting ecotourism, even more of Africa would be in the same boat as Somalia,Sierra Leone,Ethiopia ... need I go on ... racist?
An "opportunity for a great experience"? Is that what you call provoking a poor animal and almost killing it just for the pleasure of two freaks ever looking for excitement in their life? That's precisely the opposite of "ecotourism". Those freaks could be non-white for all I know, that's not the point, but most safari goers tend to come from Western countries. It's sad you don't see what's happened to the planet because of the white man.
The white man? Really? So it's whites slashing and burning the Gorilla habitat to make room for the burgeoning native population? It's whites who snare the chimpanzees and and kill them for their testicles for magical powers? It's whites who have totally eroded the Zululand planes with uncontrolled grazing that certain acacia trees are now endangered there? It's whites who poach ivory? Or rhino horn for their Chinese customers so they can make aphrodisiacs? Get an education!
The animals get so plentiful in the Kruger national park that they actually have to shoot them to keep the numbers down otherwise the parks would be too small to maintain such a large number of animals. Not to mention you do not know at all why they actually videotaped the lion because there could be a million reasons for it. So please go speak shit some where else.
@Afrikaner007 or they can expand the park. it's like the US government and putting native Americans in "reservations" but we sure as fuck will never even think of keeping our population in check.
No offense darling, but you've probably never even been near the country, never mind the place. I'm from the area and spend a lot of my time near there and there are just as many african tourists as "white" tourist that enjoy it. It's where I grew up, learned about life, an amazing place and an amazing experience, which you would obviously know nothing about.

If you have a problem how the West does things then go back from where you came from or else keep your mouth shut. Plus you know nothing about animal conservation. The Kruger national park is one of the few parks in Africa which are still well protected against poachers and guess what most of the game wardens and conservationist in the Kruger are WHITE.

The animals get so plentiful in the Kruger national park that they actually have to shoot them to keep the numbers down otherwise the parks would be too small to maintain such a large number of animals.
