We had around over 15 beat cops make over $250K last year!! 7 of them made $290-$299k !!!! Then city wonders why they short falls in their budget!! They're as corrupt as the day is long!! No. Most cops are totally corrupt. It's unfortunate. Here in Oakland CA they're the highest paid people in the Govt! The top 7 highest paid govt employees are BEAT cops!! Can you imagine that? More than mayor, more than Fire Chief, more than Chief of police- those titles all make over $200k/yr but a beat cop gets $80-$90K/yr. base pay. If works a little overtime(5-6 hrs, 5 days a week you get another $80-$90K + a bonus of $80-$90K for working those extra hours- like triple overtime!! Insane!

that's just downright dirty, distasteful, and disgusting. I mean even if they were just assholes, shouldn't have they at least taken into fact that the cop is under investigation? No wonder they are urging for the police force to be dismantled, they should! I've had the family's back since the first incident, so this story caught me as especially shocking and disturbing. I really hope that there is some justice in this case.
