This is not 2000-5 MKII but 2000C, which are older planes with only fox 1 (semi-active radar guided missile ) and fox 2 (Ir guided) missiles. Only Mirage 2000-5 and mk have active missile in mirage family :)

Indian Air Force pilots are one of the best in the world .The feat achieved by them in 1971 is still unparalleled in modern history. In 1971,IAF pilots(20 men) defeated Pakistan army(2000 men with many tanks) in battle of longiwala. We have had exercises with US air force many times in the past & have come out tops most of the time.....
The French pilots are an outstanding group of fliers. But remember that the US has two outstanding groups: The Blue Angels, and The Thunderbirds. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the french pilots could fly with either of the US groups after some training or the US pilots link-up with the French A/F.
You can't blame French pilots for what the French government does. Yeah sure, the French politicians have mucked up most everything and they love waving the white flag, but the French fighter pilots are some of the best in the world. French design is the leading choice for most pilots, myself included. I've been a professional pilot for 11 years and I swear by the Falcon and anything else Dassault makes.
i dont trust these flashy science fiction looking air craft i would take the F-16 over anything and best of all the are made 5th generation as well nothing competes

Una catastrofe che si è dissolta dopo pochi giorni di guerra nell'ozio della linea maginot... Riguardo i velivoli nessun aereo francese è mai entrato in linea dopo l'armistizio perchè considerato inadeguato. In Italia, tranne il vecchio CR 42, gli aerei erano validi eccome, chiedilo ai piloti francesi caduti.

I have had the pleasure of serving in the Legion for 12 years 89 - 2001 and while on deployment in Djibouti had the ride of my life in a 2 seat Mirage, these guy's are nuts in an aircraft, their chopper pilots are not far behind almost crashing in a puma springs to mind. Vive la France.

This is not 2000-5 MKII but 2000C, which are older planes with only fox 1 (semi-active radar guided missile ) and fox 2 (Ir guided) missiles. Only Mirage 2000-5 and mk have active missile in mirage family :)

Indian Air Force pilots are one of the best in the world .The feat achieved by them in 1971 is still unparalleled in modern history. In 1971,IAF pilots(20 men) defeated Pakistan army(2000 men with many tanks) in battle of longiwala. We have had exercises with US air force many times in the past & have come out tops most of the time.....

The French pilots are an outstanding group of fliers. But remember that the US has two outstanding groups: The Blue Angels, and The Thunderbirds. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the french pilots could fly with either of the US groups after some training or the US pilots link-up with the French A/F.
All three of the groups have balls of brass!

You can't blame French pilots for what the French government does. Yeah sure, the French politicians have mucked up most everything and they love waving the white flag, but the French fighter pilots are some of the best in the world. French design is the leading choice for most pilots, myself included. I've been a professional pilot for 11 years and I swear by the Falcon and anything else Dassault makes.
