Surprisingly I ended up getting really good at micromanaging in C&C3 on XBOX, now I play PS3 so I'll be getting Red Alert 3, hit me up at Psilocybin.

The problem with this game on the console is that, the amount of units you can have is small. I wish they focused more on increasing the gameplays capacity rather than the graphics. I love Command and Conquer games, kinda wish they did a better job with this one.

@faiz196 not really. Unless you aren't very good at handling a gamepad, try it yourself. You'd be surprised just how easy it actually is to control, i know i was. One very big disadvantage though, there is hardly any hotkeys, making it so the player is a bit slower than a pc gamer. You can play about as fast as you could using a mouse only, except there's a bit less precision when it comes to commanding your army, requiring a little more skill and practice.

@gaza1234567891 Yes, the campaign is a bit eh vanilla, but if you like a deep game to play online or with friends its a killer. If you like campaigns uprising has some challenges that can be quite hard, dont buy it for the story though its kind of silly.

I don't know but console games can be good or bad. I think RA3 for ps3 is pretty good considering, although my personal favorite console rts will always be Dune Battle for Arrakis for the Sega Genesis. That game kicked butt. I think you just have to be more patient with the controls. Mouse and keyboard are great but people complain too much when it comes to convenience.

Surprisingly this game handles incredibly well on the PS3. The controls arent too bad, they can be overwhelming at first play but after a mission or two you will handle it like its nothing. The game plays really smooth considering the level the graphics are set at and the whole PC experience is pretty much intact. This is how a console RTS should be, loving the game.

commanders challenge is a standalone version of redalert 3 which features 50 missions and new units not found in the first red alert 3 although commanders challenge has no online or custom skirmishes. the first red alert 3 is disk so go to a gamestop or somewhere and buy it

i would use the chronosphere to kill infantry and sometimes i use it to make non amphibious vehicles into the water but it doesnt kill them they stay stuck

my stratagy build a couple of engineers at beggening so when u attack and enemy can flank you so you have your enginners to heal buildings till you can get back but i only use this when playing bots
