  • I'm no millionaire, but I am debt-free, live comfortably and have $10,000 in disposable income and growing. The major reason is because I haven't been brainwashed by the consumer-driving corporations to buy every expensive new piece of trash just to meet the status quo.

I have a crack in my windshield which I can afford to fix, but I refuse to pay for it until it is absolutely necessary. Having a fat wallet far more satisfying than keeping up with the buried-in-debt Jonses.

  • Its the way to do it! These people are geniuses!

  • is it just me, or am I put off by the oldest daughter.

    probably just me.

  • the biggest problem with north america is this: purchasing what you cant afford.

my mentor said this to me, and it resonates in my mind in hard times:

" who the fuck said you get to live well? who the fuck said besides bread and water you are entitled to anything else... guess what, your not. you get what you get, and if you dont get much , too... fucking... bad. poor people dont deserve anything nice. right or wrong,,, doesnt matter, those are facts, they ARE ."

  • For most people it is just a matter of getting money off daily necessities like food but what if you want a smart phone or television? Well you can get great discounts if you know what I know and show on my channel.

  • Hotdogs, kraft dinner, processed grain products.... I hope they've got some money saved up to pay their medical bills in the future. If there's one place you shouldn't skimp, it's buying high-quality, organic food. All that bread - they could have made some with a few ingredients (and not the 30 or so in processed, store-bought bread).

  • it only took me 2 1/2 years to pay off $15,000, now THATS makin sacrifices! normally anyone else would probably take 15 years to pay that off. whats my secret? hmmmm, moving back in with my parents, putting lots of money towards my debts, not getting out much, etc. now im about to be debt free again.

  • You are blessed to have kids that are supportive to the parents and their beliefs. I can't tell you the amount of kids who would oppose this in today's "buy-this-buy-that" society!

  • i am unemployed and have very little extra cash at the end of the month, but who dosen't like to buy something cute every once in awhile? now i can't go into those stores without feeling depressed. my daughter and i decided to go thrift store shopping on my birthday as a treat. MAN did we have fun! i can't even tell you all of the great things we found and spent less than $20! my daughter got a brand new 'old navy' puffy vest for $3, she wears it everyday now that it is colder.

  • I used to have a horrible shopping addiction. One month, I drained my account and racked up $2000 in debt. I had to re-learn how to spend money, and I have become a lot more frugal. The best part is that it's fun to search around and much more satisfying to get more for your buck! I just wish I could eventually get to the level that you guys are on - you're my money role models!

  • great family!

  • your famous now. wow. I love you guys.
