fall for the rest? it's not some fully charged smash that people walk into. its a ONE frame move, like shine. you're basically saying you didn't think people could get shined either in tournaments. rest is just very punishable if it misses, so players don't use it often, but you should walk hungrybox play. he uses rest quite often to punish. there are also some really easy rest punishes and combos. watch king's combo vids

Ken is overrated. Even back in his prime, there were several domestic players who could beat him. He wasn't nearly as untouchable as Mango is now.

With regards to this match: on the stock before, Mango upsmashed Armada's nair out of shield. So Armada rolling right instead of nairing wasn't a BAD choice. But it WAS an inevitable choice. Mango didn't leave Armada with too many options by standing next to his shield. Mango covered the most obvious response, and won Genesis.

It also won him the tournament. At that point he had already won. The momentum shifts drastically from that point till the end of match 3.3. I mean till that point the sets where all about Armada and the great things he can do. All that and he still couldn't put mango away. It gave me a whole new respect for mango. Seeing him have to come from behind but showing he had it in him to pull out come from behind wins against someone as good as he is. I look forward to more form them at Pound.

when i saw mango dashdance against m2k @ RoM, that's where i had respect for him. i mean to pick jiggs as a character and to win major tournaments, it's really unbelieveable. if someone 3 or 4 years ago asked me if jigglypuff could win a tournament, i would have died laughing. i could see someone using him/her while playing items, but using such a character against (at the time) pc, azen, etc would be suicide. heck the 1st time i saw jiggs in a major match was ken vs (his name escapes me atm)

(continued from above) killa or during east vs west crew battles. ken 3-stocked him. there was NO way jiggs would win @ a major tournament. then pound 3 came along. not only did an unknown player (at that time to me) placed 1st @ pound 3, he used (you guessed it) jiggs to do it (i think, i never saw most of the matches from that event) then king came along and started doing awesome stuff with jiggypuff. then mango wins at RoM, Genesis, and other tournaments in between. nothing but respect mango!
