  • Love old flims from the 1930s and 1940s

  • oh baby thank you ever so much =D

    thumbs up =P

  • Thank you, this has been shown, on Poetry Train om face book, to mellow out the passengers, ;), Appreciated.

  • Hats off to whoever uploaded this terrific film. Thank you.

  • @wowier I've seen quite a lot of films, but I fail to see what's good in this one.I've tried to watch it last night and it's frankly terrible.Pretty much anyone but Margaret Lockwood are terrible,80% of the characters are parodies of caricatures, the acting is generally abysmal and the witty dialogue is patently ill-timed.The initial sequence with the diorama is unforgivable and the direction is amateurish.Don't care if it was 1938: wasn't "The Thin Man" made in '34? And what about Lubitsch?

  • Maybe I'm odd but as a 15 year old this has to be one of my all time favourite films. The acting and dialogue is briliant and there is no violence, swearing and horidness that plagues so many modern films. Plus I have always liked Hitchcocks films and I have a weak spot for Micheal Redgrave. :S

  • How racy this is and how wonderful that nobody has a hang-up about drinking and smoking. God bless the wonderful Googie Withers who died today and I salute the wonderful cast ensemble, the clever script, the genius, frankly, of Mr Hitchcock. How interesting that he always loves to establish an opening shot and then close in through a window, like a snooper, a voyeur.

  • I like the gentle pace and dialogue in old movies very much. Many current movies have violence or relentless action that is fatiguing to watch.

  • margaret lockwood's legs are beyond fantastic, plus the tip of her nose moves up and down when she speaks. that' my line of perv demarcation.

  • the BEST alfred hitcock ever! One of my favorites X)

  • Margaret Lockwood is very pretty. Mr Hitchcock had great taste in actresses.

  • Isn't this film free public domain?

  • One of Alfred Hitchcock's finest pictures

  • Ha ha ha! There's more innuendo in this than a 'CarryOn' Movie !

  • what is there left for me, but marriage? funny, funny, funny...

  • Thank you for posting this movie!!!! I love it so much <3 <3

  • That little model snowed-in village diarama prop they use at 1:23 is so cool! It's neat the way the one train is covered in snow - and really cool when that little model-T car rolls down that one street at 1:42! Cheesy, sure, but back then audiences didn't mind cheap special effects cuz' most effects were bad.

  • @anonyms404 Plus people had more of an imagination back then, now they have to have visual effects for anyone to be interested anymore! lol

  • this is classic !!!

  • Alfred hitchcock rocks!
