Ahhh.. reminds me of the days of driving my old '88 GT Mustang on the back roads in the Autumn, grey skies over the landscape. Ned's, PWEI, Wonderstuff... this stuff was the best.
GunHed17...Oh my god! My thoughts exactly...except for the Mustang part. Back when I first heard Ned's we would drive around in the cool October air of central Pennsylvania blaring this album! Something about it and this time of the year. It's magic...pure and simple. One of the best ever!!
One of my all-time faves. God Fodder is such a cool cd it's like a surreal listening experience, i just like to kick back and close my eyes and listen. Better than any drugs.
What can you say about a band with two bassists? A lot, that's what. Although the Neds have kind of a plain punk sound, it's VERY fun to listen to. I bought the God Fodder CD years back because of Grey Cell Green but actually found that my real favorites are Kill Your Television and this song. Classic stuff.
was these guys when i was in high school at the Academy in NYC. they opened for Jesus Jones. i could've cared less about jesus jones but Ned's was awesome!
my fave neds tune. and reminds me how succint and relevant jonns lyrics were as a young guy with bad hair and clothes and girlfriend problems etc i related big time. i even wanted a brummie accent for fucks sake!!
HFS! can you believe this is almost 20 y/o?! makes me miss being 14 and sitting in my friends room listening to this high playing super nintendo. Top 10 best band of all time and VERY underated!!!
i used to watch my VHS of "Nothing is Cool" and wear my "Then you fucked up" shirt everyday. i wish i still had my promo cassette of "God Fodder" i bought for $1 at Moby Disc Record Store...**Sighs**
i miss em too. i fkd off coz at the time i swappd the god fodder Lp 4 Bleach by a certain grunge band. weneva hear trak off bleach always fink mmm god fodder
oh YEAH back in 1992... wait a minute.. that was... 15 years ago, still - I remember VERY good memories from this song and band. Key wors/feelings being: free, rebellioous, young, and more - until, u find out
alright to all other Ned fans; I need your help...there was a song around '92 in the same genre that for a long time I thought was Ned's....in the middle of the song it broke down and sampled the part from Taxi Driver where she tells him that he reminds her of a song, and then it picked up again and repeated "You remind me" over and over again. Does anyone know this song???? Is it Ned's? I only have God Fodder. Thanks!!!
fuck yeah love me some Neds!

gave me my first real taste of timing changes in songs, now no song is quite as good if it doesn;t take a tempo diff in the chorus,
summers, beers, girls and neds, that was me through the 90's

I've been a fan of NAD since 1990 but I've never seen this video. What a let-down. Amazing track, cheap, poor video. Shame really.
