did you have to file the body for the tune-o matic to work a friend of mine made my 1st guitar amazing but the bridge is way to high for the neck so i think thats the problem

Good job, excellent work. The metal nut helps with sustain. I had a friend who used brass for the nuts on his guitars. It worked well. He used dental files to smooth it and groove the string guides. Made for killer sustain for the music he was playing at the time.

Locking Nut on a fixed bridge guitar?! lolz?

I´m not "tightin in" the locking nut, so it works like a normal graphite or bone nut, I installed this just because I like a metal nut in the guitar

@ricardofdcardoso if it's not thighten take it off! Don't leave the locking pieces and screws there 'cause it makes a lot of ressonance! Just use the metal nut!

i used spray paint for my bc rich but when i started putting it together the paint fall of from some parts like the part where the tunners are

why do you have a locking nut without a fload rose its just going to go out of tune when you tightin it
