  • can you cut fabric with this ? or felt ? thanks

  • how deep can it cut?

the paper that i should purchase...

  • hey I wann get one, I love making gift tags but i have a question, does it cut paper that has already being printed in, I mean I design the tags and instead of using a paper puncher to cut the tag i want to use the Slice machine is it possible?

  • how do i make my own data sheets for this? I want to make my own stencils

  • 4" is good for me I only make cards or books and boxes. I am waiting for the trade in or upgrade that Making Memories was considering.

  • can it cut metal, like soda can metal ?

  • Where did you get the slice, and for how much?? And the cartridges?

  • how much did you buy this machine for and where? The cartridges?

  • Hi there,

I want to ask can we cut letters and shapes bigger than 4 inches.

  • can u say customized car decals and window decals and not just paper crafts.

  • its shady how the informercial never tells the full price of the unit but only the 30 days price. This would be better if the bext version can be connected to computer via USB using a software that have unlimited downloadable shapes and fonts, etc.

  • Do you have to home the blade every time before you use the slice?

I just bought the slice but am having problems with knowing where the blade will cut and when I only have a small scrap piece of paper, it's hard to know where to position it.

  • actually that comment on where to cut is incorrect.

On the Cricut machine you can tell exactly where to cut and it has a paper saving feature, which the Slice and the silhouette and Robo craft doesn't have. You end up wasting more paper with these machines than the cricut.

    I have all 4 machines.

  • great!!!!! keep on posting em!!

  • Great video...thanks for posting it! :)

  • How often do you have to change your blades with the Slice? Great video, it's fun to see how excited you are about it!

  • it sure is cute and is less expensive than a cricut, but i hope the price is going to come down! a small cricut is only $60 more and you wouldn't have to precut your paper or hold onto it while it runs. still, this would be a lot of fun to own and takes up much less space!

  • I got this machine today, it's fantastic. thanks for the tutorial. :)

  • very cool, however your logo is disturbing, its in the way of your video. You should move it to a lower corner.

    thanks

  • WOW, so cool to see it in real, does it only go up to 4" and what is the smallest shape size? Also, you were holding it while it cuts, do you have to do that? Like you can't set it up and walk away from it?

Am thinking of putting it on my wish list anyway!

  • --Chelle - 4 inches is the largest. Each shape has a different range from 1 to 4 inches I think. about 8 sizes per shape. the words don't go less than 2 inches. You do hold it in place while it cuts - but as you can see it's fast. If you didn't hold it - (lightly) it would not cut properly.
