@18tangles Well, considering my Grandfather on my fathers side arrive on the Mary and John from Bideford, Devon County England in 1635, I guess that makes me American! He was a Magistrate and Councilor. Brought his eldest son with him who later became known as the great land owner of Maine. At 18 he was on the first cattle drive from Maine to Boston. Yes, I am a paper carrying US Citizen.
@echobiz why I asked our social security system and vet affairs disability pensions are better.Thats not to say our citizens as well are not struggling. My ancestors peasants with the household of the Earl of Lincoln sometime in the 1400s.Fathers side at least 1500s greek from the Islands.Pirates or somesuch.
@18tangles We have something much more powerful than the Industries although it would be great to get them back. Wise money goes back to spending wisely instructions 6,000 years ago: Book-The Richest Man In Babylon, by George Classon. However, modern economics is so simple anyone with an 8th grade education who can read and do simple math can become very wealthy. People do, but many have no clue as to how.
I was born in 1969 in the USSR. We call it the war of American imperialism against the people of fraternal Vietnam. You have probably about as well. :)) But the truth was that withdrawing troops America has retained a certain amount of American lives, by giving to the massacre of two million Vietnamese in the South. And now all these are your "flower children" received authority created a crisis in the world.
@RUXOID It is a crazy world. The US supplying war equipment and supplies, and the Russians supplying war equipment and supplies and all the money came from the same international bankers to pay for the death of many people. Soldiers went to Vietnam to fight against Communism, but it was not about Communism as it was about making money for the elite. I am shocked Russians that came to the US and are in Bread lines. They could be practicing the most common sense methods of creating wealth.
@lumberjackcole Dont know what my uncle was in but he was army infantry 1969 recieved the bronze medal etc, wish i could find out details about the whole thing but he took his own life a few years later, very sad and an excellent man, R.I.P. Verle Wayne Simmons
@GeorgeWashiification write to the Defence Department Army Records with his full name, number and service and I think you will be able to access his records. Give it a go, cannot hurt.
If you are a truth seeker, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click on the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says. Everyone needs to see this. The Present will turn this world right-side up if it reaches enough people. You will see what I mean when you read the first page.
I too was a Redcatcher and then became a door gunner out of Bien Hoa with the 190th AHC where I did a lot of combat assaults with my old unit, the 199th LIB.
Those day's are long gone but will never be forgotten!
@EINSdurchVIER Actually, none of my friends died but we sure did kick the shit out of your buddy's!!! I was personally responsible for at least over 100 and hopefully more, you piece of shit!!! LMAO @ U!!!
@EINSdurchVIER Keep on talking keyboard warrior, and hopefully Russia will once again take your country from you. And don't worry, you won't get help again from my country if I can help it! Fuk off anb go suck a dick BITCH! OH, you already suck dick, continue!!! I'm still laughing at you! LMAO
@001720BC how u know im a german just because i live in germany? and why do you think every german is a nazi? only logical consequence of all this is that you are retarded... now go and have a wank on your swastika flag you dumbfuck
@18tangles Grandad was in WWII- the Big One and he messed up some Japs with a M-1. Daddy was in Nam in country in the shit and he took it to some gooks with an M-16!
@busterbone well I would not class the AK47 and the RPG7 as sticks and stones. There were a lot of tanks at Lai Khe that found out how bad the RPG was. At Coral the enemy were using them to try and knock out our Arty. Bad bastards.
The idea was fighting for freedom and democracy, to stop the spread of Chinese communist which I am grateful for that as a Vietnamese. Only they killed more civilians presumed to be VC but the real VC army was hardly damaged.
@Oceancolour5 you are wrong after TET 68 the V.C. were buggered bled white by the NORTH who did not want an armed force to fight when they won. The Norths plans for a united Vietnam did not include southerners who would fight at being left out. There are Ex V.C. today who think Hanoi abandoned them.
i know i was in my foreign life in the vietnam war. Last time i was listening to some typical music of this age, and then the car got on a broken road and in one time i was fealing like in a vehicle in vietnam and i was very frightened ^^ I got feard :D
It's not his fault you twat. Blame the politicians who sent them and then called up all the eligible people not in the army to go and fight a war they weren't involved with.
@WRTYIO ! They fought to stop the spread of communism from China and they will do the same today, the difference today is the US army will fight along side with VC against China. Same idea, different strategy.

Checking endrasicmguy's channel and finding he was an Australian gives me a violent urge to apologize. I won't though, just because we share the same home it doesn;t mean we have the same beliefs. And because I agree with freedom of speech, I will also use my own to call him a fuckhead, though I doubt his manhood. That is all

wheres the freedom dude i dont see it only dumbasses join the military to die for arms manufacturers, who cares go die for your so called country so corporation bosses can retire on the golf course as billionaires ......you suckers lol
The Vietnamese taugh the American empire a hard earn lesson. We gave the American imperialist army its single only loss in US history. Vietnam is the first and only nation that has defeated 3 superpowers that in United Nations (UN) security council (France, USA, China).
americans always think they are right even when they are wrong what did the vietnamese people ever do to them to deseve their homes to be napalmed your attitude would change if US suburbs were obliterated and your relatives were incinerated and your girls raped then killed america has a lot to answer for
kids dont know who won oer whqat the vietnam war was, thats sad, but infact america back then like today is being used for corp power vietnam had opil thats why they went there, had nothing to do with commies, its was wall street making money thats all, it wasnt meant to be won but just keep going and going until they could go anymore
@badsign1980 actually, you dont know anything about vietnam, i did a report on the vietnam war and it clearly stated that we went there because of the commies attacking the pro american south vietnam we had troops there for defense but im not trying to make you feel like an idiot im just saying
@youbestbequiet Vietnam is a communist country you idiot. And they are still proud of what the V.C. and Ho Chi Minh did. The war didn't do shit, it just held that poor country back for another 20 years in economic progress and killed millions of people for nothing.
@Shahin2102 LOL If you say so. Yeah, they are in just awful shape now. War torn, no business etc etc OH WAIT, Vietnam has tourism now, Imagine that. Just one thing they wouldn't have if not for US intervention.Go back to playing with your head in the sand in your Third World country.
@youbestbequiet It is a communist country. Period. This is ultimate proof that you failed and that's all that matters. And yes, Vietnam is doing good right now, something that goes against all this American bullshit of how communism destroys a country. Vietnam is doing good and no fucking thanks to you.
lol I can't believe you actually just said that the vietnam war triggered the tourism industry.
@Shahin2102 Thy are better off than most middle eastern countries hands down. Who in their right mind would want to visit some terrorist state like Iran? China, Vietnam and so on have much better relations with the US now thanks to our money. They are not ruled like they were either, It is not a clear communist state. They have more freedoms that places such as the former Soviet Union. Communism is dead using your definition. There is still collective communism but that is much better.
@youbestbequiet Listen up sparky. Go back to blowing up bus stops where kids are and worshiping the cross dressing joke named Mohammad. I know you are upset that we burn the Quran but that's what we do with fiction. If you don't like Vietnam, don't go. I guess you couldn't anyway since you people make..what..8 cents a day lol You should really move on from worshiping a goat and try to expand your knowledge beyond IED's and suicide bombings. Cya later, have to go hit the beach towely.
@youbestbequiet i'm not muslim. But then again I don't expect you to know that the world isn't just "Americans v.s. Anti Americans a.k.a. muslims and commies".
Believe it or not, sane, rational and open-minded people can still hate the US without being muslim or marxist. Go back to your little concrete bunker filled with american flags, while the world outside suffers because of your actions. We don't need more people like you who put bullets in innocents' heads while singing about liberty.
I served in the 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry of the 199th in 1968-69. I was awarded the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts, and the Combat Infantrymen's Badge during my tour. It means so much now to finally, repeatedly hear the words "thank you for your service." We're part of the "military mainstream" at last.--Tom Reilly
@endracismguy you fucking bastard how dare you say something so terrible to a man who served his country with so much courage to possibly ensure a douche bag like you's freedom. go fucking rot in hell you sick fuck.
@heycarlos69 Just ignore him dude. Douche-bags like that will always be there. They're just attention seeking assholes who have no idea what they're saying. Did America commit war crimes? Sure. Every country does at least a little bit. But endracismguy is just being ungrateful and disrespectful. As a civilian with type-1 Diabetes, I sadly cannot join the U.S. Military. But one way or another, I'll continue to respect our troops regardless. War is a terrible thing, but sometimes a necessary evil.
@dodadagohuhsgi Really what i hate is that people during the vietnam war generation were disrespectful and ungrateful to those who served, however every1 from today is extreamly thank you, including myself, thank you for your service and for your sacrifice
@Povixas He's not talking smack on the Vietnam vets, he said that the hippies and other followers didnt give a shit about the soldiers or what they have been through. Sometimes those people would curse or spit at the soldiers for killing civilians and raping the women in Vietnam when they came home. More than half of all the soldiers that went to Vietnam were inducted into it, which meant they had no choice but to serve in the army. Even Mohammad Ali was inducted to serve the Vietnam war.
@dodadagohuhsgi My Dad and my Uncle (they were twins) served with the 3/7 when the 199th was shipped from Benning to Vietnam in Dec. of 1966. that first tour, they were called "the wipeout brigade" because of their casualties. they survived, but my uncle later died in 1969 and was awarded the MoH for it. Dad loved the 199th.
@ottovonstierlitz, Just the opposite. USA never lost a major battle or campaign, but did indeed lose smaller engagements of < battalion strength. Everyone loses in war. PAVN(NVA) & VM/VC lost manymore troops than the Allied forces. They were all good soldiers. Entire Cold War was a waste of life, resources, & time.
Not surprised but most M14's were found in support company's; especially after 66. Had a good friend "Homer Hayes" from Kentucky in 199th. Can't remember unit. He was only survivor. Lost track of him long ago.

The idea was fighting for freedom and democracy, to stop the spread of Chinese communist which I am grateful for that as a Vietnamese. Only they killed more civilians presumed to be VC but the real VC army was hardly damaged.
Oceancolour5 7 months ago
@Oceancolour5 you are wrong after TET 68 the V.C. were buggered bled white by the NORTH who did not want an armed force to fight when they won. The Norths plans for a united Vietnam did not include southerners who would fight at being left out. There are Ex V.C. today who think Hanoi abandoned them.

God bless America.

youbestbequiet 9 months ago
@youbestbequiet It is a communist country. Period. This is ultimate proof that you failed and that's all that matters. And yes, Vietnam is doing good right now, something that goes against all this American bullshit of how communism destroys a country. Vietnam is doing good and no fucking thanks to you.
lol I can't believe you actually just said that the vietnam war triggered the tourism industry.
Shahin2102 9 months ago
@Shahin2102 Thy are better off than most middle eastern countries hands down. Who in their right mind would want to visit some terrorist state like Iran? China, Vietnam and so on have much better relations with the US now thanks to our money. They are not ruled like they were either, It is not a clear communist state. They have more freedoms that places such as the former Soviet Union. Communism is dead using your definition. There is still collective communism but that is much better.

I guess you couldn't anyway since you people make..what..8 cents a day lol You should really move on from worshiping a goat and try to expand your knowledge beyond IED's and suicide bombings. Cya later, have to go hit the beach towely.
