  • Poor mongoose

  • Wow cool video but the music and text where strange. Do you get off on snakes or something you freak.

  • @whitewhiteboy89 ....well, what was 'strange' about the text? The fonts?

  • @sreesnake lol the music hahaha

  • I cannot see the video because of big idiot text always bother

  • What a cheesey video. lol A constrictor kills a mongoose. FILM AT 11

  • Song is by A.R. Rahman "Pray For Me Brother"

  • Mongooses are just not anatomically built to hunt pythons, they are built for the speed to counter a viper's bite which is light but lightning quick.

  • @Svallinn ..."anatomically built to hunt pythons"....how/what might be that?

  • messing with the wrong snake,

    hahahaha

  • what's the song playing?

  • well it's about time thats snakes kill mongooses

  • Pretty much any animal that gets caught by any python is done for. I've even known pythons to take out tigers.

  • LOL! It mess with the wrong snake this time. He got eaten up.

  • Indian need to just quit the film industry, they can't operate a camera for shit

  • Even if they were the same size the constrictor would beat it seriously ppl just go off some videos they see leave it to the ppl that are actually educated about the animals.

  • Guy kill the music ! Very poor choice in music for such a video .

  • There's no way a mongoose can kill a python even if the python is the same size as a cobra.pythons constrict, cobras don't,and if a mongoose try to get any closer to the pythons' head,it will be gone in just a matter of minutes when the python strikes with its powerful bite and coil itself around the mongoose's body.

  • @nostalgiamelancolia1 ...i agree. Even if a mongoose gets to bite the head of the python, it would end up losing the battle.

  • @nostalgiamelancolia1 if they are the same size the python will die that python is huge u idiot

  • Wow, who would have thought a Cobra Killer with lightning speed would get ambushed by a sneaky constrictor. I guess they both have their special abilities for survival.

Thanks for posting and I guess it's a bit ironic for the snake eater to be eaten by a snake.

  • @jurassicsushi ...yeah irony it is!! But then, in the wild there are no rules...eat or get eaten..right? :)

  • @jurassicsushi Mongoose can kill the cobra very easily because cobras do not constrict like pythons.I don't think a mongoose can kill a python even if the python is the same size as the cobra.pythons constrict, cobras don't.

  • @nostalgiamelancolia1 It's funny that you say that because i was kinda thinking the same thing in reference to even if the mongoose grabbed the constrictor the constrictors are kinda used to getting bit while they are wrapping those coils around their prey. So indeed if the mongoose gets a head bite it still might get constricted and die or it might get the fatal bite off fast enough.

  • dude. i can only say idrk if thts a Mongoose. cuz 1, like you STATED in your vid. its a well known snake killer. 2. yes EVERY animal gets it coming, there's not 1 animal on this planet tht doesnt get whats coming to 'em at all.my problem is tht you act like Snakes are the most dominant thing in this world. which is obviously Bull-shit. since your Pro-snake makes it even worse. like seriously bro. the 1 time a snake wins. you make it into a worldwide event? Eat shit. Mongoose VS Snake is WAR 24/7

  • @rboffill ....now don't flip your lid. It is just that I got a rare video and posted it....where did you find the sloganeering about "pro-snake' 'snakes are the most dominant things' and all? Since when did posting a video on Youtube become a 'worldwide event'? Eat something healthy....will clear your thought process.

  • @sreesnake dont worry bout me.cmon, anybody would notice your pro-snake. (which you probably /obviously are.)by that i mean, you support snakes. the 1 time (if this really is a mongoose) a snake gets its vengance. you show the many holds on the creature. and say such crazy remarks. and therefore, acting like tht was a "Worldwide event". i think your pro-snake due to your name, channel video(s) ETC. im not calling u a snake-fag. nor do i support you. i dont like snakes. i respect wht they do.

  • @rboffill

The only fag I see is you. Stop whining about a video. No one cares if you don't like it.

  • @Zynlo GTFO. everyones entitled to their own opinion. its just YOU tht doesnt like it. do the world a favor and stop sticking your dick where it doesnt belong. this discussion is between me and the owner of this video.

  • @sreesnake Oh one last note. i see you reside in the wonderful country of India. home to the battles of these 2 beasts. im sure you witness those Fights from time to time. and obviously know the victor.

  • @rboffill man, nature it's all stone-paper-scisor like, givin a look to the head of the phyton's prey you can tell that it is a mongoose (or a honey badger, but don't have the color of one, and however, a snake killing a honeybadger is an acheivement as big as killing a mongoose), actually mongooses kills cobras because they have inmunity to it's poison, and cobras knows a shit about meele fight, but a mongoose fighting a phyton, a boa or a monitor lizard will loose.

  • @alternativepal Mongooses are no more immune to a cobra's venom than you are. Mongooses prey mainly on juvenile cobras that they can outspeed and outmuscle. They don't attack 7 foot long adults. That's precisely the reason mongooses use their quick reflexes to dodge the snake's strike, because if they got bit, they'd be toast.

  • @Monarchos Actually, it's now known that mongooses possess a partial immunity to cobra venom. But only partial. It would take more than one cobra bite to kill one, but usually the cobra is too tired to bite the mongoose more than once.

An adult king cobra could beat a mongoose because it injects more venom per bite than other cobras. In fact I think king cobras evolved in response to the threat of mongooses killing smaller snakes.

  • @vikingpowr

So you have a burm then? Or a Retic? If so you are correct, One of those would prove to be quite a challenge for a honey badger. How large is yours? My little girl is 17ft long now and over 300lbs! They grow up so fast.

  • A hero to snakes everywhere

  • To be Honest, a Mongoose isnt that dumb to just walk right into a python. Are you kidding me? You suck at making videos.

  • @Zaxxarius ...yeah true. To be honest, I kept a board that read "fresh fish here'" to fool the mongoose and he believed it and walked right into the trap eyes closed!! Only the brilliant ones like you can spot a phony video like this

    !!!

  • Dude, it is about time a snake ate a mongoose. mess with the cobra, you get the PYTHON!!!!!!!!!

  • give me five python lovers

  • It's true. A mongoose can kill a cobra, but they cannot kill a python.

  • The reason mongoose kill cobras is cobras are slow strikers. When they strike the top of the head is exposed for longer b/c it takes longer to come back up from that downward strike. There are plenty of snakes like vipers, pythons, or mambas thatll make short work of any mongoose.

  • I'm pretty sure you may be Charlie Sheen, without the beaver, blow and money. Good luck in life sir.

  • Hunter hunted!

  • You're an idiot, you really think this is cool? And Cheetah's right...that doesn't look like a Mongoose. But even if it is, the video shows nothing interesting. A python SHOULD kill a Mongoose everytime, but unfortunately for you Python Lover, the undersized Mongoose kills TONS of Pythons. Don't even get me started on the Honey Badger. They eat Pythons for fun. Pythons routinely are eaten by smaller animals. Their prowess is a myth...you know they mostly eat small mice, etc.

  • @40rmitch ..DUH!!!!!

  • @40rmitch DUDE. U have no idea what you are talking about. Mongooses dont kill pythons. Only babies. They kill cobras. Dont say something, you dont know anything about.

  • @40rmitch dude a honey badger or wolverine would fuckin rip apart a snake

  • wouldnt be suprised if some of the larger pythons like the burmese, african rock python or the reticulated python can kill and eat any size mongoose very large pythons as mentioned above can constrict kill and eat gazzelle which is way bigger then any mongoose.

  • That mongoose got OWNED.

  • That's Micky Mouse, dummy, not Micky Mongoose.

  • @whysunshyn ....Duh!!!!

  • stop lying b!tch, it's a rat, not mongoose

  • @cheetahhook ....Duh!!

  • Well, first of all, pythons are typically larger than cobras. It poses a much greater challenge for a mongoose. However, if the mongoose somehow managed to get ahold of it's head, the snake is history. Even rats have been know to kill large constrictors. That is why it is important to keep an eye on them when you feed them. If you own one as a pet.

  • I've seen the anaconda-capybara vid, and have also seen on tv, an indian mongoose back off and run from an enraged female king cobra that was protecting it's nest. How would a mongoose fair against, say, a large king cobra of 12 ft. or more with a head to large for the mongoose to get it's jaws around?

  • @charlessavarese ..a mongoose never messes with a viper even, as unlike cobras, vipers never 'bluff'. It is only with the Naja naja that the mongoose can win hands down, basically because they are slow snakes. I don' think they will take on the king.

  • @sreesnake You might want to check out "mongoose vs anaconda", in wich a mongoose wins against what is actually a large gabon viper.

  • @charlessavarese ....It does look like a crotalid, but definitely not a gaboon viper. Moreover, the patterns of the hapless snake looks different in different shots...might be the angle though. I am not a big fan of staged fights where things might have been altered to benefit one side or the other. In my opinion, the mongoose is a bit wary of the vipers.

  • @sreesnake

A mongoose makes mincemeat of the Russell's Viper..don't be under a misnomer that a mongoose only takes on Cobras.

  • @vixenvote .... maybe. I haven't seen an encounter, so I was guarded and said 'in my opinion'. Have you seen an encounter in the wild?

  • @sreesnake No I haven't to be honest. But I have heard from leading herps.

  • @charlessavarese As I've said, I would love to see mongoose vs full-size king cobra, boa constrictor, or burmese python. That would be exciting.

  • @charlessavarese That was probably a set up. It only showed a baby mongoose against a fully grown King Cobra. Try and recall the shot..it never showed the mongoose retreat when pitted against the Cobra..it just showed the mongoose running away in a different frame. But even that little mongoose went rearing upto the snake. If it were an adult Indian Mongoose, it would have been curtains for the King Cobra!

  • If fights are always being staged in Asia between mongoose and cobra, for tourist entertainment, why are pythons never used? What would be the outcome if the mongoose wasn't ambushed, but had a chance to defend itself. I imagine the mongoose would get a hold of the python's head, and be immediately wraped in it's coils, with both animals having a death grip on eachother, the reptile would squeeze the mammal to death, but possibly die of it's head wound later. How's that theory?

  • @charlessavarese...maybe because unlike cobras, pythons never put up a show.

Even when ambushed, many carnivores manage to inflict wounds to boiids with their nails or teeth. Capybaras literally carve off muscles from anacondas while being constricted. However, the boiids never relent and also have amazing powers of healing. Look at any wild boiid! They invariably have deep scars, the legacy of their success.

  • @charlessavarese

A mongoose would stand no chance against a large constrictor..period.

  • Dead or alive, I don't think a mongoose can tackle a fully grown constrictor. But it can make short work of all venomous snakes including the King Cobra and juvenile pythons. Fully grown pythons and boas are simply too large for a mongoose (and most other creatures) to handle.

  • If I was there I would say to Mangoose ''Get up champ, it's not your night.''

  • @xxxdannyxxx

    Wow, butthurt much?

The mongoose lost. Suck it up.

  • What the hell is with the mongoose fanboy conspiracy theories? Are you all so stupid, you think he actually PLANTED a dead mongoose for the python to eat? I've seen a domestic dog kill a mongoose, was that planted too?

  • i hate snakes , and i kill lot of them and eat them too , nothing special ... if would be there i will cut that snake on few peaces ... mongoose rules ... now is 1 000 000 : 1 for mongoose vs snakes

  • @brranko

You're an idiot. Mongooses are food for pythons, and eat snakes smaller than themselves. What is your problem?

  • @chiconspiracy u r retarded person ....

  • @chiconspiracy

Its me again Chic, what gave you the idea that mongooses "eat" snakes in the first place??? It just kills. And it brings down snakes much larger than its length. It does it eat snakes but very very rarely. The Indian mongoose is just a natural killer of snakes just as India's national bird - the Peacock.

  • @vixenvote

Because there are videos showing them eating them... They have high metabolisms, and eat pretty much anything they can..

  • @brranko You suck shit at trolling.

  • the mongoose vs python duel is more difficult for the mongoose. This is a more physical fight where the mongoose is at a disadvantage. the mongoose is going to lose more fights against a python because of the python's strength. Other snakes try to beat the mongoose with just a bite. The python has a strong bite and a killer squeeze to beat and eat the mongoose every time!

  • @poorgy ...true. But in this case it was not a duel. The mongoose crossed the road right in front of the forest veterinarian who was on his rounds, and hardly had it entered the bush, it was ambushed. I was wondering what would have happened had it crossed the road 5 meters to either side. But it certainly wasn't luck for the python. It was clearly in wait (for how long?), in the habitual trail taken by the mongoose, expecting it to arrive. The mongoose had absolutely no chance of escaping!!

  • Very informative. Thanks.

Herpestes javanicus should be called Javanese mongoose, not Indian mongoose.

  • that doesnt look like a mongoose to my eyes, this title of this vid i think is used to attract attention.

  • @xxxdannyxxx ..pray tell me what it is then, if it is not the Indian mongoose (Herpestes javanicus)?

  • @sreesnake

yeah! it is nothing but a setup video, how convenient for you or some friend of yours to film right when the snake is already eating this animal.

seems you have a hatred towards mongoose and created this vid for it.

you peace of shit, you should be ashamed of yourself

  • @xxxdannyxxx ...you saw through my plot, how clever!! Now that I am busted I 'll tell you the truth. Actually, when I was a kid, a mongoose stole my candy. That day, I decided to make a video to discredit all mongooses. Would you like to know how I killed this one?Naaa!! You'd weep!! I took the carcass of the mongoose and wandered for 3 years as I couldn't find a python that would act the script. You'd be surprised to know, it isn't a python but a man who agreed to act like a python! Satisfied?

  • @sreesnake

look at you being so defensive, it is almost like Barry Bonds and other baseball players denying that they use steroids, no make that Roger Clemens going so far as to deny it, but you know what.....all OF THEM USE STEROIDS...THEY LIED,

just like you and this vid, looks to me that you are feeding some dead mongoose or some other dead animal and trying to pass it off as snake finally kills mongoose.

even for a guy like me, that's pretty low and cold.

  • @xxxdannyxxx ..you hit the nail square on the head..." even for a guy like you"..thanks!

  • @sreesnake

finally is good to see you admit the truth, so please put a real video next time.

  • @xxxdannyxxx ...yes...now RIP!

  • @xxxdannyxxx

    Your an Idiot.

    @sreesnake

Back in high school I had an 11 ft Burmese Python (his name was Boots). My old man got it off of some tattoo artist for my birthday. One night I was feeding him his monthly 2 rabbits. I use to clean his cage in the middle of his feeding. He had finished the 2nd rabbit before I realized it. I still had the smell of rodent on me and he snatched my arm. I didn't think I was getting it back. But he must have realized I was too big to eat and he released.

  • @SemperBadBear

    your an idiot!

  • @xxxdannyxxx calm yourself kid, Im just trolling.

  • @SemperBadBear ..have you seen the NatGeo programme "The Big Squeeze'? It describes how pythons in captivity kill an average of 27 persons a year in the US!! Having a big boid at home is always a risk. Take care.

  • aaaaaahahahahahahhahahhaaa pwned gaymongoose!

  • are you sure that's a mongoose?

  • @aestheticcoder ..yes it is the Indian mongoose..Herpestes javanicus!

  • this is a fucking ass bitich retartded gay video mongoose can kill any snake in the wole world mongoose are more skill full than indian python idiot dumm ass people say that a snake can kill mongooses one bite on the the snake's head or big fat ass could kill the snake easylee

  • @meraj7861 ...easy man...don't trip on your own tongue.....next time I 'll post one where the mongoose wins. Now take a deep breath...and keep sucking your thumb!

  • @meraj7861 it's nature. however to cheer you up.... mongooses rely on their speed to win. it's understandable why it lost here because of all the thick grass. usually they will beat even king cobras

  • @meraj7861 gayass!

  • @meraj7861 well apparently not, cause theres one being killed right there on camera...

  • @meraj7861 .... quit your crybaby antics meraj7861!!

mongoose got crushed!!! pythons and anacondas are vice grips!!

about time someone posted a video of a snake destroying a mongoose!
