How long did this take you to do this in Flash? Every time I've had to use Flash, it seemingly takes FOREVER to get anything done, though I would figure that with moving type it would be much easier then making figures move.
@LordArse Actually this was done in flash. After effects would have been much easier but using flash was a must for this project. I took about 20 hours or so.
Patton's downfall was that he was too good at making speeches like this. The media made him a icon when the war needed funds to press on, and that iconography finally caught up to him when he slapped the shell-shocked kid.
That was so dumb! I cant believe they screwed Patton for slapping a soldier. I mean, that was war! If he didn't slap that kid back to reality the enemy may have gotten him and done way worse.
@0oticklpiklo0 PTSD (Battle Fatigue/Shell shock) affects everyone differently. It's like asking a person with a broken leg to walk it off: you're dealing with conscripts in the US military then: they didn't ask for the job. Same thing in Korea and Vietnam.
Mental fitness wasn't a priority until just before the '91 Gulf war.
@0oticklpiklo0 you should probably learn some history instead of being ignorant and then spreading your ignorance to other people as fact. The soldier had malaria (fact) ... and was probably suffering from PTSD (reasonable hypothisis) as well.
They also didn't "screw Patton" he got a slap on the wrist and was able to maintain his position is general... they just made him apologize for being a dick.
