ive been having problems with final cut pro and my hd pvr recordings, when i try to add the video to edit it on final cut pro it tells me general error and something about memory? also what are the proper audio/video settings when using my 720p recordings??
@WhatsHisPhac3 I recommend converting the videos into Apple Pro Res 422 mith Mpeg Streamclip. But then you have to convert your recordings into .mp4 h.264 with Handbrake before you convert to Apple Pro Res 422.
Then set your Sequence settings to Apple Pro Res 422. I cut with 1280x720 and 30 fps. And through Apple Pro Res 422 it is fast, and you have no quality loss.
I just bought a hauppauge HD PVR as well. However it can only record like 7 seconds of footage. If you see my newest video you'll notice my quality seemed to downgrade throughout the video as well. What computer do you have?
