  • I don't give a sh......... who wrote this tune or who claims credits for recording it.

It is one of those things that send shivers through my spine every time I listen to it (especially P.C. bass bowed solo).

Thanks for posting this very rare gem !!!

  • @SaxySanta777 thanks for the comment. I'm sorry about the wrong song info, but I agree with what you said. Who cares about the credits, this is spectacular jazz :)

  • like this! 0 dislikes =)

  • A Paul Chambers bass solo (bowed) is one of life's great pleasures. This is a GREAT tune, and Miles actually LIKED Ahmad Jamal. Yeah!

  • phillie joe jones is bitchin on this set--one of the all-time best percussionists ever

  • miles had nothing to do with this tune except to have it on his album---just like billy boy---this is RED GARLANDS great rendition of this great blues work---true these guys were in miles group but credit shoud be given to the players and not miles puhleez

  • @EMCEMITCH

true. in miles biography he said he would try to have songs with just the rhythm section as a trio to show their skill, just like during the live sets

  • This tune was written by ahmad jamal ... it's a cover ...

  • ... still, i don't know if it's possible to use the word "cover" in jazz context ... Anyway, it's really swinging!!
