The hemi-orange r/t classic is indeed rare. looks incredible. mine is detonator yellow. i know there is another DY r/t classic and at least one DT SRT8 in the city. B5 Blue is the most common r/t classic. i saw 2 on a drive to Chicago last summer. i've seen 4 plum crazy r/t classics, 1 PC and 1 red SRT8
And, hundreds and hundreds of camaros and mustangs
the best compliment i've gotten is when two home boys in a new BMW m3 pulled up alongside, gave her a long look, and gave me a thumbs up.

you say 350 HP but you actually might be somewhere in the 370HP area. so yeah you should get it dynoed (sp) and get back to us. you might get surprised bud :)
Unfortuntely for me, I was actually pretty right on with my guesstimate. I finally got the car dyno'd a couple weeks back and it made 346 at the wheels and about 372 foot pounds of torque at the wheels. Check my other video's for some of the dyno runs and printout.
You could probably hit 370 at the wheels with a nice cat-back system, and a good custom tune.

omgg!!!! ive found another one!!! i got one of those sitting in my garage right now!! lol...we ordered it from bob fredrick himself we ordered with automatic,electronic convience group and the block heater....we also tried to figure out how many people have a hemi-orange classic. We knew we were getting it in november of 09 and we were able to place the order the first day it was allowed for the classic.

I'm not sure I understand your first two questions. But yes, I think the Brilliant Black R/T Classic could look quite good with a silver stripe. I do know the you can see the flat black stripes pretty well in the sunlight on it though. But it obviously would not stand out as much as the stripes on the Hemi Orange or B5 Blue colors.
Love that car, RT classic is the best choice... not so thirsty as SRT... good looking american car... only if it wasn't so expensive to import that car over here to europe. price in here would be around €45000 EUR ... btw. stick shift is making that car even better :c)) Why aren't they making MDS with manual?
Awesome car!!! I love the color and I wish I would have opted for the leather seats. I ordered the Brilliant Black and the wait seems to be taking forever. Again, great car man! Oh yea, the stock exhaust on this video sounds amazing.

True story: last Saturday I picked up a DTY Challenger R/T without telling my wife - she was pissed ;)
Hey, I got it $4,000 below MSRP (employee pricing) at 1.9% financing and $2,000 worth of free Dodge parts.
My college aged kids thought it was pretty cool.
If you got little kids and you need the room, I'd recommend you don't do what I did.
