  • Okay, since everyone appears to be going batshit over the lyrics, I have a solution: Make your own fucking video if you found mine to be so pestilential. It's not that fucking difficult. I already clarified multiple times that these were not official lyrics and that I had acquired them from a website four months before "The Daily Mail" was released; ipso facto, inaccuracies in the lyrics were inevitable.

  • at 2.34 it should be: "with your head in the sand."

  • I thought it was the lunies are up on the mountain like lunatics I think he did that I go to sleep too but what the he'll who gives a shit it's a great song!!

  • OMG Radiohead got their sound back!

  • I am probably responsible for 90% of this video's plays

  • Love it when the piano steps down...classic Radiohead. amazing

  • and lying awake would make more sense no?

  • @TheLampard80 - Thanks for all of these that you do. Watching your videos is a great way to listen to Radiohead. One correction. You have "The flies in the sky" it should be "That flies in the sky". The line is preceded by Lord of all...that flies in the sky...and referring to all birds, not just incects. Keep up the good work. I couldn't have figured out half of these lyrics.

  • it's "the loonies are up on the mountain"

  • @StudioScarecrow It very well could be. Like I said, there aren't any official lyrics for the song (yet). I took these lyrics off of greenplastic . com, which tends to be one of the more accurate Radiohead lyrics sites (as opposed to someplace like metrolyrics . com or azlyrics . com). I generally don't like making a lyrics video unless I have the official lyrics booklet... oh well.

  • @StudioScarecrow no, it's "the moon is a rock on the mountain." a reference to stone age people who didn't understand what the moon was. it's making fun of people who don't believe in science.

  • @tlbrooklyn 'The Loonies' are a common reference in Radiohead lyrics. Also used in the lyrics for 'Go To Sleep' and in the artwork for the Hail To The Thief Special Edition.

  • @StudioScarecrow FINALLY, someone else gets it!! If you go back to the artwork printed in the special edition of Hail to the Thief, it refers to "the loonies" and if you know the term, it's obvious this is what Thom is singing here.

  • When the drums n shit come in

    yes

  • It's "With your head / In the sand" not "When you're here / Innocent" :D

  • awesome...but does anyone actually know wtf this song is about?

  • @slackerethic its about how everything is so messed up in the world. "The Lunatics have taken over the (insane) asylum" saying we're all mad and all that. and The Daily Mail is a paper in England\London (somewhere around there) that makes up all the gossip crap like stuff you might read in People magazine but kind of more dramatic, and not at all right. "wheres the truth?" hes saying The Daily Mail (which is just an example, hes tlking bout the whole world) is printing fake info. Figure the rest

  • @Amucha13 well i suppose that makes sense. thanks

  • @slackerethic anytime!!! :D

  • @Amucha13 i see. thanks

  • Love this so much! And nice vid :)

  • RADIOHEAD HAS NEVER HAD A BAD SONG!!! thx for the lyrics!!<3
