  • Greetings,

First off I find your videos invaluble and incredibly helpfully to the would be artist :-)

I'd hate to throw away all that plastic though is there any advantage/disadvantage in handling over using Luer lock bottles (much softer than jaq bottles) instead of cones or is it all just a matter of personal taste.

Although the bottles are plastic they are reusable, but of course cost more to start with as you need quite a few if you make henna in larger batches

    Kindest regards,

    L

  • Hi there, I'm wondering what's the purpose of filling in the henna paste into the cone in a rolling way? Does it have anything to do with the flow of the paste when applying the henna on the skin?

  • Were do u get that paper

  • how did you do that

  • Its quite hard to make

  • Were did u get the carrot bags from

  • Very informative.. Thankyou, so much.. :))

  • Wtf is henna?

  • @cheydeseray henna is a paste used mainly in india. it serves the purpose of a temporary tattoo. they usually do elaborate patterns on their hands and feet

  • @cheydeseray henna is something u apply on ur hands and feet look at the vedios on the side bar -->

  • your a life saver thank you,you just saved my life

  • how do you cut the tip? or do you poke a hole?

  • @sadeyesace you can cut it with scissors or a nail clipper, start low and if the lines are too thin for you, you can cut further up

  • Salaam Sister,

I don't know if you are too busy in ur schedule or u don't wana reply to my previous query.

Please let me know so that I don't disturb you further.

  • @liveinsimple Salam, please send it again. On average I have over 60 emails daily, tons of youtube comments and messages, facebook message count over 80 at the moment. I try to get back to everyone in a timely manner, but sometimes it's hard for one person to do it all.

  • i can't help but think about 2 girls 1 cup when veiwing this video

  • i hav a question for the henna paste..

like u knw the paste we use for hair? can we use the same paste for henna on hand??

  • @juicystar24 Yeah,, You Can You The Same For Your Hand... and i do it all the time... and the color comes out so much better then the other henna u use in hand (:

  • @juicystar24 the dye content is not strong enogh, the colour won`t be good, you need to use body art quality henna.

  • @theChloe249 A carrot bag is a plastic bag shapped like a carrot. You can find them in cooking supply stores or at the craft store (sometimes). Google is a great place to search for information.

  • what kind of bag is this by which u put the henna paste in the cone.. could its be more easy to use if we use henna in the bag only

  • @union098765 carrot bag. If you need more information on carrot bags you can google it. It is also called a pastry bag. I made a video about the materials, you can find it on my channel.

  • @FreeHandMehndi thankx : )))))

  • Hi. When I make my cones and have the henna in them and roll them up and use them henna always seems to splurt out on the sides. I tape it really good but it always splurts out. Also sometimes when I have henna cones and I'm applying henna the henna won't come out of the tip but out on the sides. I use zip lock material to make the cones. Do you know why this may be happening and what I can do to prevent it? Please answer!! Thnx

  • @MsCraftyCritter You are using a material that is too soft for henna cones. Switch to a thicker plastic or mylar. You can use a chip bag or go to a party store or florist and purchase cello paper (flora phane).

  • do you poke a hole with a needle for the henna application or do you cut it with scissors ?

  • @AFGAngelgirl I cut, but you can poke a hole if you want to.

  • do you poke a hole with a needle for the henna application or do you cut it with scissors

  • @AFGAngelgirl I cut the tip.

  • where can i get caroot bags from

  • @foreverlikeme Google search is a great place to start. I also sell them on my website.

  • salam,i wan 2 ask u,when u make d cone,did u make d hole also?or u make d hole when u wanna use it?

  • @whutagain salam, I usually make the hole when I'm ready to use it. It's just simple cut on the tip with scissors.

  • where can i get the carrot bags from?

  • @iza142088 Google search is a great place to start.

  • salam it just seems to be seeping out of everywhere!

    maybe im over filling them?

  • @zakiboy100 If it is seeping out everywhere it could be the paper you are using for your cones. It could be that the cone is not rolled properly. Overfilling usually results in henna paste come out of the top.

  • salams sister!

i made loads of henna cones but the next day i found that they had leaked!

not the actual henna but like the liquid in the henna?

i tried to tape it up please can you tell me why this is happening

    thanks

  • @zakiboy100 Salam, If henna is leaking out of your cones they might not be rolled tight enough. Or there is a hole in your cone paper. Where is the henna leaking from (top, bottom, side)?

  • but how do you make the Mehndi Henna?

  • @mellyvel1 Watch my video about how to mix henna paste.

  • im in the uk coulds someone please tell me what carrot bag is please?

  • where i live they do a different type carrot bag so do u suggest anything else???

  • @zobiakauser Use the carrot bags you have available to you.

  • @zobiakauser I'm assuming you could use a disposable piping bag, it's exactly the same shape

  • Hi,

which type of paper did you use?

    Thanks

  • @MsDamaz Please watch my video titled "which materials can I use to make henna applicator cones?" This video will answer your question.

  • wow ur good at doing ehndi stuff lol xD

  • "flower thing" is the transparent polyethylene foil. that flowers are put in!

  • ok, i tried making my own henna paste! didn't work ... :S i think i followed all ur instruction of ur previous videos ! only thing i didnt do is i couldnt swift the paste ! and i used limes instead of lemons. the color of the paste was also different after the dye release (compared to ur paste ).. ok it was just the same as before! so my question is it my mistake or is the henna powder !? should i try a different brand ? luv to hear suggestions !

  • @mhmhni it sounds like it didn`t go through dye release, my guess would be it was too old, do you know when it was harvested? Which brand did you use?

  • @angelface190081

i think u r right that might be the problem ! there is no date at all ...

and it s a henna hair color product so may be this is a problem too ! i bought a new powder and i m gonna try it with that ! anyway thanks for the answer !

  • i also tried it with the flower thing material too the henna didnt come out propery and i also cut the tip abit but still nothing . hav i done somthing wrong?

  • @stardoll786 I am not sure what a "flower thing material" is. I suggest using a carrot bag. I will make a video about it on Monday since I will be using one on Monday, but it is such a simple process the video will be very very very short.

  • am tryin to make one but how do u cut it? can u please do a video on how to cut the carrot bag please x

  • @stardoll786 Do you have a carrot bag?

  • @FreeHandMehndi Yeahh i do... i tried making one with a carrot bag it worked out okai but the henna wouldnt come out properly :( and if i squeezed it too hard it wud come out as a big blob

  • @stardoll786 maybe yu shuld add mre liquid to your paste, it sunds like it doesn`t have the right consistency

  • thank you

  • Hi I was wondering if you know how to make one of those long henna cones from India. I;m sending you a link on the cone I've been trying to find how to make. I hope this link works. 1mummymum. See how super fine the tip is and such a fine flow it has. Every time I try to make one the tip inside the cone bunches up some how.

  • @tangledwillow It is easy to make a long henna cone, you just have to cut a wider piece of cone paper with shorter sides. Other than that, the way cones are made in India are no different than what you see in this video. My tip is very fine, and the paste flows out very smooth. Cone rolling takes practice. I too had a similar issue when I started rolling cones.

  • not so good ok! i am sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @manalsameersafeer What's not good???

  • very helpful indeed!!

  • hi there just wondering what is a carot bag and where can i buy it from. can i not just put mehendi directly inside the cone with a spoon or something

  • @rinamiah A carrot bag is a piping bag that cake decorators use to put fancy frosting decorations on cake. Anywhere you can buy cake supplies, you can get carrot bags. Putting mehndi directly inside the cone is messy and you must have a tiny spoon to do that, then there would be a small amount of mehndi in the cone. It is best to use the carrot bag. I can make 50 cones easy with a carrot bag.

  • hi thaks for the video

  • tThanks a lot! WHat are the dimensions of the paper? Does it matter? thanks for the videos, I'm slowly building up the confidence to start learning how to apply henna.

    GOD BLESS! (=

  • @imatrini4life The cello paper was about 3 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It could be made smaller or larger depending on how small or large you want the cone.

  • nice video as usual, cute ring! can't wait for your next video! :-)

  • o0o0oo preety ring ma shaa ALLAH!

  • ooo, very helpful. thank you :)
