  • @dogastine: As long as you drive your knees out (strong external rotation) don't need to keep your feet parallel -- many people find they have more stability with feet turned out a bit. Watch Oly lifters -- their jump stance is parallel but their landing is usually turned out a bit -- and they are lifting monstrous amounts of weight.

  • @dan6666ification I have a decent amount of experience in competitive Olympic weightlifting, and I can promise you her form is nearly perfect. Also, they're called bumper weights, they're made bigger so that you can drop them, but they're definitely not fake.

  • Tremendous functional strength by these girls. They have found something they enjoy doing and while "crossfit" is not the end-all-be-all to training, far from it, these girls have developed some impressive strength. Much better than girls who go to a commercial gym and do 3 sets of 10 of bicep curls on some stupid machine.

  • @stswandersoul Are you joking? You want her to go on the treadmills and the crosstrainers? like all the rest of the gym idiots. Olympic lifters have the best knee strength of any athlete. She bailed out the lift. Everyone has had to do it at some point. I had to bail out of a squat a few weeks back as i lost focus. Shes training hard. Thats how you should train. You shouldnt be afraid of injuries. This type of lifting is so good for you. I think you need to change your mind.

    i agree that you have to train hard but there are some limits..if you pass these limits then you'll have an inevitable damage.. i'm an orthopaedist and also for a period i was trained by a powerlifter trainer...so i know some things better for this subject..maybe i'm wrong ok?this is just my opinion
