  • I hated this movie so much! It was just so fucking creepy. But the ending is so satisfying. Exactly what every good villain needs. A gruesome death. She so deserved it.

  • Crazy ass bitch... If I was a woman and I saw a woman breast feeding my baby.... I would beat the living dog shit out of that bitch

  • I look for this movie longtimes... I found it!!!!! Hoorey!!!

  • i LOVE THE THEME SONG IN THIS MOVIE

  • CREEPY

  • lmao the black guy in this

  • 0:47 "HI BILLY MAYS HERE!...."

  • DAMM this is a very good movie.

  • Note to self do not let extremely attractive people come in and do your house work. Whether its a nanny or even a security installation guy like Cam Gigandet in Trespass (bitly .com/qccWtY). They will become obsessed with you and try to steal your family that is what the movies are trying to portray to us.

  • LOL!

  • Does she rock the cradle with bebe style msn! Or has no adventures in baby sitting innocence she kidnap you to asylum austin powers!

  • What a crazy bitch..o__o

  • this is like orphan and obsessed combined ?

  • Viva Curtis Hanson...!

  • don't let it get past blood ,or your born vampire during Masowitz Austria Xmen MAgneto tape recorded vamp on sentinnel alert camp! No Suckers allowed or Sucker Punch Trailer!

  • thumbs up if you saw "the fist that rocks the cradle"

  • spoilers :(

  • "Trust is her weapon. Innocence her opportunity. Revenge her only desire. Their innocence is her opportunity. Their trust is her weapon."

Uhhh... might want to look at the cliches in your summary, koolasss.

  • man, i miss movies like this. such great character and plotlines and writing.

  • I remember seeing this in the theater and when she was breast feeding the baby all the women in the theater were like "Oh hell fucking no, that bitch needs her ass beat for that". Lol

  • @Scene68 i have masturbated loads over her breastfeeding the baby scene mmmmm suck that milk out

  • @EatMyWetJuicyTurd haha oh brother

  • @Scene68

Do you know if this was ever a true story in real life?

  • its one of them films you leave on when you see it

  • The greatest thriller ever made!! Absolutely brilliant!

  • their release dates. :|

  • of not being a mother and no longer a wife since losing her son within days of her husband's death. while as lisa (from obsessed) was more concerned with getting with derek rather than being a mother to his son. they do share some similar characteristics, but their stories and goals are completely different so why even compare them? i've seen both movies, both amazing in their own ways. but you wouldn't be able to fully enjoy both with your narrow minds. enjoy the movies for their contents, not

  • the trouble isn't really new movies ripping off old movies, it's more of people comparing old and new ones, when it's unnecessary to, and trying to judge the movie not by its content but by the date it came out. yes, there are similarities in those two movies, which you can find in other movies as well, but they have their differences. if you actually watched both the movies, you would know that peyton (from this movie) was not only trying to seek revenge on claire, but also to fill in that void

  • I watched this movie for the first time yesterday, a great movie the first half, they don't make movies like that anymore. However, characteristic of this era, it gets way out of hand and ends up losing credibility because they push the envelope more and more. Finally you end up watching another version of halloween. The guy who played the male role, the father, appeared to have no acting experience. Rebecca was great in this role.

  • L@s reavers rozan la genialidad, son los más virtuosos.

  • @TheMerkedya thats the only reason i searched for this trailer lol

  • oh damn I hate that psycho blonde bitch

  • I thought it was a great movie. Great cast!

  • And this movie is where i got my name ._.

    Peytons are badasses.

  • Claire is an idiot. She never checked Payton's references

  • this is a good thriller..she's got an amazing face for it

  • this movie is a classic!

  • Julianne Moore's finest hour. (LOL) I am waiting for the watered-down PG13 remake, starring Katie Cassidy in the DeMornay role, Alexis Bledel in the Sciorra role, and Blake Lively in the Julianne Moore part.

  • @tommyburgos yes for katie cassidy! she's very manipulative on gossip girl, so she'd be great in a role like peyton!

  • i remember that movie

  • This one reminds me so much of Sleeping With The Enemy, another great thriller made around the same time i think.

  • this movie is on YT right now.

  • This is a qud ass movie' ilove dis movie'

  • This is the best thriller movie of all time!

  • The funny part is that Julianne Moore is in that movie, Moore still does movies as of today, but where are all the other actors today, Ernie Hudson is on and off in Hollywood. I got to hand it to Julianne Moore, at least Moore is not a "Has Been".

  • great movie

  • This movie is sooooooooooo awful.

  • I loved this movie. She's so creepy!

  • im in love with this movie...Psycho woman. :)

  • creepy movie

  • I remember seeing this for the first time when I was I think 8. I don't think I understood it at the time. I do now of course. She was such a psycho.

  • I remember this movie!!! It was sooo cool!!! Lol

I think I was 10 when I saw it lol

  • Remember the TV show " In Living Color "? They made a spoof called " The Fist That Rocks the Cradle ".

  • one of my fav movies of all time

  • hahaha madeline zima is so cute!!:D

  • i'm glad that bitch dies

  • This was a great movie, exept that there wasn't alot of action in the film, mainly talking.

  • This is probably my favourite thriller of all time

  • this is a creepy film.

  • that woman was crazy, she should have been mad with her husband not with claire

  • Amazing movie!!!

  • I like the part where the nanny says I'll rip ur fucking head off to the little boy being mean to the little girl

  • Great movie I'm watching it right now

  • WAY BETTER THAN FUCKING OBSESSED, THAT STUPID RIPOFF

    great classic

  • @PrincessPeach777 Yeah I just got done watching the movie and I agree it 10 times better.

  • @PrincessPeach777 it wasnt even a remake. it was completely different. i love obseesed.

  • @MsLoveTheSummer

well its good that u love it,

but no, it had the same structure. about a homewrecker who goes nuts. SAME, u cant argue.

  • @PrincessPeach777 i suppose but it wasnt a rip off

  • @MsLoveTheSummer Why would you love what is widely acknowledged to be a below average movie?

  • @EFFANDJEFF Because it's not about quality, it's about the amount of laughs you'll have

  • @PrincessPeach777 Rebecca DeMornay played a psychotic bitch to a "T".....then ending had my jaw drop.

  • The nany is very beautiful

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

  • @MexicanVictorHugo is the movie really worth getting?

  • @ThePurpleSweatshirt HELL YEAH!!!! IT'S SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIe!!!!!

  • i adore the movie, very well directed hate the asthma scenes

  • this used to creep me out wen i was little

  • It's a great movie, but the stupidity of the characters in it frustrated me. It's like everybody is stupid except the evil woman.

  • goes to show you, don't judge a book by it's cover....

  • @amyntut How scary is it?

  • @aubietiger1928 ???????????????? I don't know what you mean, I wrote that you can't always judge a book by it's cover, because they said in this trailer that she was nice etc, but really was a wolf in sheeps clothing.................

  • love this movie, I hate when the lady thinks that he's abusing the girl :(

  • wow, this came out the year I was born..YAY! :) anyways, I seen this 3 or 4 times when I was younger. I have not seen this in years so I think I will watch it again today haha :D Its a good movie from what I remember..

  • what i love about the crazy nanny in this is you want so desperately to hate her but at the same time you want her to live for a sequel

  • Crazy Bitch. Love it.

  • I was 13 when I first saw this movie I loved it!!

  • I had only watched it on tv years ago. Never knew the title. Now I only have one more movie to find.

  • i'm NEVER setting foot in a green house now.

This was such a good movie though! :O

  • i wanna see this!!

i saw the very ending... but then it made me wanna see it even more!

  • @MissBriannaNicole what happened, everyone died???

  • @XXXkLeCiIj69XXX haha, no. The only people who die.. are Peyton & Marleen.. But the dad breaks his legs.. Marleen (Claire's friend) went into the greenhouse, and moved the shovel sitting next to the reel thingy.. it was a trap Peyton sets up for Claire. It causes the reel to spin closing the roof (made of glass) very violently.. causing all the glass to break. It fell on Marleen, and she died.. by being punctured by sharp glass.

  • @MissBriannaNicole ok. somebody told me that the end is very creepy, something about peyton and dad i think.

  • @XXXkLeCiIj69XXX I saw this movie for the first time when it came out. I loved it. The part where the father is downstairs after they run off Peyton scares me, especially when thatclock starts beeping, and then crazy Peyton whacks him with that shovel. Damn she was good in that movie, and Annabella Sciora was great, Everytime I see that scene when she's having the severe asthma attack, I feel my lungs closing off. I always wondered if she's a real asthmatic? Because she was GREAT!

  • @MissBriannaNicole I always close my eyes during that part. I love this movie, I watch it everytime it comes on TV.

  • Oooo gonna watch this now :D

  • im watching this now i love this movie sooooooo much

  • when i saw this movie from 1st time i thought that woman from the park 0:42 (actress Jane Jones) was Madeline Zima's (Emma) real mother!

  • It was Julianne Moore's big break film.

  • recognise the little girl from "heroes"

  • honestly...every super hot woman I ever dated was kind of violent and nuts...but could ride my saturn-5 to the moon!...rebecca demornay and traci lords look like sisters both excellent!...yes! I am a dirty old perverted white man!

  • great movie

  • This is one of my favourite thrillers!!

  • I saw it last week for the 1st time and I loooove it! Such a great movie!!

  • "when ur husband makes love to me.......it's my face he see's" I love how she says that........I wish i had a stalking voice like that

  • @TheMasturRater U got it wrong lol.. U ment to say when ur husband makes love TO YOU its my face he sees.

  • @TheMasturRater haha i hope he sees your face when he makes love to you Post

  • @TheMasturRater haha i hope he sees your face when he makes love to you

  • That's the music from Sleeping With The Enemy that they're using in the trailer.

  • Love this movie.

  • One of my best movie viewings ever!!! Hands down, the audience at first was shocked at what she did. Alot of oh's, no she didn't . When she humiliated the retard, then the worse when she breast fed the baby. That did it for us. The was the best, man everybody in the audience was cheering in the end. It was fun, it was what a movie should do. Make it fun and let you forget life for two hours. This movies does. And Peyton, well one of the best female villains on film!!!

  • Ironically, the mentally challenge gardner (the retard) knew that crazy ass bitch Peyton was up to know good, lol!! But Clair whopped her ass (Peyton) in the end though, lol!! Great movie!

  • He only knew Peyton was bad because he saw her breast feeding the baby boy.

  • @chotzrary I too remember watching it at the movies and I too can say it was one of the best times I've ever had where we as an audience were one. IT was fun, from start to finish it was fun.

  • @chotzrary Yeah it is kind sad now, when you go to a movie, all you hear and see are rude ignorant fools walking up and down the stairs, texting and talking out loud. It's great to see other like me remember fondly our times when movies were fun and a cheer inducing finally got everybody up to cheer the evil nanny dead. YAY!!! Kinda macabre but fun nonetheless, huh?

  • @chotzrary

I actually felt sad for peyton. Crazy as she was can you REALLY blame her? She lost everything. She discovered that her husband was a sick pervert...And he killed himself. And she lost her baby AND her mother died. How could she not be insane?

  • @DCshirley When I think of Peyton, I also think of Alex from "Fatal Attraction". Both were broken in someway. Peyton, well she had lost everything in her world. When she speaks about her dead husband, you get the sense that he was everything to her. Her baby would have filled the void, that maybe her childhood was never like. I think in my mind, she was abused, a foster child, who never knew love until the doctor came into her life.

  • @DCshirley So when the one who was the cause of her losing her family, and worse she didn't file. Well in Peyton's mind she deserved to have everything taken from her. We as the audience can relate to her, but she passed the line when we saw to what lengths she was willing to go to take another women's family. You just dont' do that. Like Fatal Attraction, Alex passed the line when she took the little away and almost killed the wife. Peyton had to pay, and well she did. With her life.

  • i watched this last night well done.

  • i love this movie

  • this was a really good movie! I woke up 2day at like 3:00 and watched the whole thing and it was really good!!

  • I like this movie but it is full of shit. No women in real life would let a nanny that was that hot in her house. She would have picked some dog ugly bitch.

  • What is the song (opera kind of) that is sung in every other scene..the alarm clock etc.? If anyone knows the name pls tell me.

  • It's called "POOR WAND'RING ONE" from "Pirates of Penzance"

Performed by The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company

  • i watched this, this morning it was really good great !

  • Where could I see the whole movie? I can't foind it anywhere

  • Hi I just uploaded the whole movie just for you! :-p

  • peyton!

  • One of my all time favourite thrillers of all time!! :D A must see!

  • The opening soundtrack is from "Sleeping with the enemy" with Julia Roberts ... composer Jerry Goldsmith .. what is it doing here ??

  • Lol - good point! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out!

  • That's because usually the trailers from movies are released before the definitive score had been already finished. So the studios use some musical theme similar that helps to set the mood.

  • Who dies in the end

  • peyton

  • good film but not so good trailer but it was years ago

  • MR Bartell is also Lloyd Braun from Seinfeld

  • My favorite movie that year Rebecca DeMornay, was outstanding as Peyton Flanders,I,saw the sneek preview on January 4,1992.

  • i love that film

  • bad film, never forget it, Rebecca De Mornay plays an amazing part as Peyton, amazing film. =]=]

  • The trailer is better than the movie.

  • OMG ! incredible movie

    i'll never forget

  • good movie i like it..

  • Has any one noticed that movies before the 2000's previews have always given away way more then movies before 2000 like for instance this movie trailer only gives away that shes like a psycho baby stealer when (if youve seen the movie) you know there is way more to it then that, good movie though

  • ty dont show were the nanys husband touches the girl with the baby

  • This is a great movie, but is there such a thing of fear of nannies? I think I may be diagnosed with it.

  • lol - no one's a perfect, calm nanny.

    Or calm, perfect anything.

All those 'perfect' one's have a weird edge.

  • lol - agreed!

  • It's a good movie she plays a good psycho,kinda reminds me of some ex-girlfriends I had,lol

  • cant wait to see this

  • you know it's been out for about 17 years right?

  • yeah but i ordered the dvd and i couldnt wait to see it at the time just watched it last week. GREAT movie

  • Hehe. I saw a scene of this movie when it first came out, the part where the glass roof of the greenhouse collapses on the woman. I now have an unusual fear of greenhouses. XD

  • @MarissaEvans1987 Greenhouseaphobia

  • i will watch the film :(

  • this movie was fucking crazy the ending was so good and scared me so bad watch out crazy white chick with a shovle

  • Madeline Zima was so cute! It's hard to believe she's all grown up. Rebecca De Mornay did a great job as the crazy woman, and Annabella Sciorra was very believable in the scene where she couldn't breathe.

  • I liked that movie. While vacationing in Seattle a few years ago, I drove down to the "Bartel" house (it's actually in Tacoma). What a beautiful neighborhood.

  • this is my movie damn she was crazy

  • one of my favorite movies.

  • the movie obsessed was like, bearly different then this movie.

    Like, wtf??

  • I used to always watch this, great film

  • lol my favourite character is the brain damaged guy

  • why didnt they just fire her?

  • lol i agree its sorta dumb : l .. :)
