It has been documented for decades that the CIA has been smuggling cocaine and heroin into the USA. For more detailed, well-documented proof, see "Cocaine Politics" by Peter Dale Scott and "The Politics of Heroin" by Alfred McCoy. There are many other books as well as eye-witness testimony from ex-DEA Agents who were told to look the other way.
