  • @oldjoe5 once again, the likes of you are misinformed. Israel never accused Hamas of shooting 8,000 rockets. That accusation was justifiably charged against Hezbollah in the 2006 conflict in the north, and that conflict DID cause a lot of damage to homes (the North is less densely populated, like New England here), and also damaged the city of Haifa.

Against Hamas the accusations run a number of TOTAL 2,000 rockets, before the Cast Lead operation - hence the original reason for Israel's advance.

  • Then I guess Israel is not apartheid or like Nazis... I hope this boy can grow up in a world of peace where he can have a career and a job and family and a long life. Unfortunately, children in Gaza are taught that death is better than life and they should be happy to sacrifice themselves in order to get rid of the Jews. Maybe this kid's generation can escape that defeatist logic.

  • @quiksilverrules14 . The the ratio of people killed to rockets fired is less than 1 to 1,000. These are not "rockets" as we are led to believe. They are unguided projectiles with no warheads. It would be more accurate to call them arrows.

Now shall we talk about the munitions the IDF uses against the people of lebanon and Gaza?

  • @oldjoe5 and you are sick in your mind and soul to now go from "rockets" to "arrows". There are hundreds (used to be thousands) of school-age children who had to live under constant fear, constant rocket drills, constant alarms, in kibbutzim around Gaza. The biggest, and most targeted, city by Gaza - Rehovot - saw its population minimized nearly 90% in the past 5-8 years. THESE ARE CALLED USSR "KATYUSHA ROCKETS". ***KNOW YOUR FACTS*** BEFORE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND YOURSELF ONLINE.

  • @earlyAMbirds. How could 8,000 rockets be fired and only a handful of people be killed?

  • A history lesson for the completely ignorant (hopefully it's just that. I hate realizing I'm debating with some neo-nazi or something):::

"The conflict began when Hezbollah militants fired rockets at Israeli border towns as a diversion for an anti-tank missile attack on two armored Humvees patrolling the Israeli side of the border fence. Of the seven Israeli soldiers in the two jeeps, two were wounded, seven were killed, and two of the dead soldiers' bodies were taken to Lebanon.

  • @oldjoe5 Israel responded with massive airstrikes and artillery fire on targets in Lebanon that damaged Lebanese civilian infrastructure, including Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport (which Israel alleged that Hezbollah used to import weapons and supplies), an air and naval blockade, and a ground invasion of southern Lebanon. Hezbollah then launched more rockets into northern Israel and engaged the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in guerrilla warfare from hardened positions.

  • @oldjoe5 Very simple. 1. G-d 2. B/c Israel makes sure that there are bomb shelters and the like for their citizens.. unlike the Palestinians who put their children in harms way.

  • @oldjoe5

Because 8000 rockets were never fired, it's just another Zionist lie, one of literally countless.

  • Forget the politics for 1 second and be grateful at what has been done here.

  • Fucking trolls.

even when Israel does something good to help arabs. arabs answer with hate.

  • yeh im a racist thats y i have friends from every religion i have friends who r black, white, asian and even palestinan

  • Israel fully intended to enjoy normal economic relations with Gaza after it left, as evidenced in part by the facilities built along the border for precisely this purpose.

    The border was open.

Then Hamas was elected to govern. The Quartet (the US, UN, EU and Russia) applied three simple

conditions: Hamas must recognize Israel, renounce violence, and abide by previous agreements.

Hamas refused all three, and instead chose to launch rockets, missiles and mortars at Israeli towns.

  • Israel, of course, put a stranglehold on Gaza as soon as the people there did not vote "the right way".

Israel, of course, killed nearly 100 times as many people in its three week assault on Gaza as have been jkilled by Hamas "rockets" in eight years. One hundred times the killing in 1/1,000th of the time. Imagine that.

  • So are saying Israel should only kill exactly the same number as people as have died in Israel.Should Israel wait for HAMAS to kill 2000 people before they defend themselves?

And don't all countries have the right to close their borders?

  • Why do you think Israel is defending themselves when they are the occupier and when they kill 100 times as many noncombatants as the other side? Is it possible that the Palis are the ones defending themselves?

  • Well if palestians are defending themselves they are guilty of the same crimes you accuse Israel of,targeting civilians. And if they defending themselves they are not doing a good job.I'm saying peace can be had for everyone,if both parties agree.

  • If Israel is the occupier (which it is -- is this debatable) and kills dozens as many noncombatants as do the Palis (this is beyond doubt), then surely the lion's share of the guilt lies with Israel, not the Palestinians.

Israel does not want peace, they want continued and expanded domination. Hence, the outcry when Obama said the status quo cannot stand -- Israel likes the status quo.

I don't speak of the average Israeli, who has been fear mongered by his leaders into going along with

  • Ok, Israel have made mistakes, but they attempted to leave GAZA and it didn't pay off.Barack Obama is all talk, just wait and see if he does, anything to help the palestinians. He says alot, but does very little in actually doing anything. If you think Barack Obama will do anything against Israel I think it would surprise even his supporters.Agreement has to be reached by the Palestinians and the Israelis.Peace can be reached by both parties.

  • Yes, they left GAZA,but they can't close up GAZA.Israel only closes their borders and the Eygptian side that is bordered with GAZA is up to the Eygptians to decide.Eygpt is a arab country that decides it's own future and does not listen to Israel. They are responsible for their own decisions in what they do with their border with GAZA.Israel were worried about the terrorist that were trying to attack them.Any country has the right to close their borders.

  • Lol, are you decrepit or something? Sadat only accepted U.S aid and rejected the Soviets because he wanted Sinai back. And he got it back in exchange for peace.... -_-

  • The Sinai was illegally occupied by the Zionists and they were required by international law and UN Resolution to return it anyway. Sadat accepted US bribes to play nice with Israel. You'd think that at least the Zionists could pay their own bribes -- but why would they when they can stick the US tapayer with the tab?

  • Yeah, I mean.. Why make peace when you know you'll attack the other side anyway right? Like in 73 when the egyptians positioned 3 tank divisions near the border for a supposed "training excersise".

Israel couldn't give 2 shits about Sinai, and only took it in 48 for one reason: to prevent egyptian fedayeen from sneaking in.

About the "bribes" so to speak, well.. Call it whatever you want but at least one peaceful resolution was achieved.

  • I guess Israel didn't snatch W Bank via war either. Nor Southern Lebanon. Or Gaza.

  • @MiquRyuhi

Bro we took the Sinai desert twice

at 1956 (and returned it at 1956 in exchange for peace) and at 1967 (and gave it back to them again at 1982)

    egyptians always betray peace

    typical arabs

  • Yeah man, but you know we're never out of the loop because we're supposed to be the responsible adult in the middle east :p

We've done a lot of irresponsible things, many of them were damn plain wrong. For example: When under Sharon's command in 56, the soldiers gunned down egyptian railroad workers whom they took hostage, out of fear they would warn their fighters and disclose the position.

  • @oldjoe5

Man where do you live ???????

    are you kidding ?!!? hahaha

you are so fucking dumb !

  • I live in the nation that serves as host for the parasitic Israeli state.

    The United States of America

  • @oldjoe5

    o rly

  • Yeah, and then moved to the north pole. A one man country with all the reason it needs :p

  • Not entirely correct. First of all, many of those supplies came from Israel to begin with, secondly there was more than one occasion in which weapons were smuggled among the necessities.

It is statistically impossible to abide by all the civil and humanitarian regulations during war time. Many people don't know, but war is often more psychological than physical and almost allways extends beyond the front and rear lines of fire; people work around the clock for new intel. Sometimes its false

  • What war?

The slaughter of unarmed Gazans by the modern and powerful IDF hardly qualifies as a war. The "fog of war" excuse does not apply

  • If that was the case, Israel would expand much more which it could've done on more than one occasion.

Read and learn more history before you comment.

  • That's it? That is your rationale, your excuse for Israel? That sure, they illegally and violently occupied and annexed Sinai, W Bank, Gaza, Jerusalem....but they could have done more?

    Pathetic dupe

  • Wonderful story

  • Comment removed

  • lovely

  • If this is propaganda then may my eyes behold this.....because this is an example of God's children helping each other with ideology...as it should be

  • this is hope

  • Ni la historia ni nada justifica la prepotencia israelí. Ningún Hasbará borrará nuestra memoria. David se convirtió en Goliat: ustedes son los asesinos.

  • This video has also been posted on the Jerusalem Post website where it has been viewed almost 10,000 times--views not recorded here on YouTube. Please share this video with as many people as you can... the message needs to be understood by as many people as possible.

  • btw..proof of the existence of a God that is beyond this man made mess.

  • 0tubewatcher0.....exactly...thank you,finally........

  • Praise God and Allah for this type of collaboration.

  • Yes indeed. peace would be the greatest way to save lives, and it requires israel to do absolutely nothing.

  • It might require the Palestinians to stop firing rockets and trying to kill Israeli civilians all the time.

  • wow! this is just superb. this shows that a simple act of kindness can still be done amid hostile situation. this is a really nice video.i mean this is just awsome.peace!

  • Please, stop talking here if it's propaganda or not! For me, and I'm Israeli, it only shows and warms my heart by the humanity and understanding and care for HUMAN'S(!) life!!! It doesn't matter with what religion or from which country people are, unless they care about HUMAN'S life and would work together in a peace just for wanting to save a life for a person!

  • I hope this is no double post, first didn't show up here. You are very right from your point of view, I think. It is so wonderful, that this "very sweet baby" :) has been saved by these wonderful doctors. Yes. But there are so many others killed... For example, in the last days people with cancer in Gaza couldn't be treated, could often not even go to a hospital... the way is blocked. So this is why people, without propaganda hopefully, talk, with a reason. Don't you think?

  • PROPAGANDA

  • And please don't accuse me of being arab i am christian and I have no ties to jews or muslims. I am just saying my unbiased opinion

  • 1. this is advocacy, getting out a positive side about Israel ("propaganda", eh, not the best word to use because it can carry negative connotation of slanting, not telling all the truth, spin, whereas this is just to inform, not to spin). 2. Israel did not take over a country, the Brits had & gave up their mandate, & before that the land was part of the Turkish empire, but no nation-state or even distinctive nation without a state was there. You are perpetuating a false, revisionist narrative.

  • And you're excellent at bigotry.

Last time I checked, a good portion of the world's Jews didn't live in Israel.

  • over the years, Israel has treated hundreds if not thousands, of sick Palestinians, Iraqis, Turkish, Jordanian, even Iranians people (mostly babies and kids, who took huge risks to flee into Israel without their governments knowing about that)

you never heard of 99% of those cases, because we are doing this, not in the name of propaganda, but the name of humanitarian aid, and compassion.

  • the world would be a better place if it wasnt ruled by politicians... doctors are a good alternative.

  • Propaganda that saves children's lives is good enough for me, therealv0x.

  • God bless the doctor

  • War is the idea of the political powers that be. These doctors are doing their job by saving a baby which is good news. Just because their country's are at war doesn't mean they have to kill each other too.

  • And their you have the truth.

  • What about the 100+ innocent women and children they bombed within the past few days? If only governments could cooperate like these doctors...

  • Yes, I do agree that terrorists come from the Arabs. But, at the same time, the jews came in and took over a country that was not theirs, regardless of the "claims" that they had on it during ancient history. As a learned individual both sides are wrong. If you lived in your house for years, raised your kids, had memories, and had someone come in and start living in it saying they had a 30 yearold claim to it, u'd fight them as well if u have no other place to go. PS I'm not christian or muslim

  • But youre an American right? So maybe you should get out considering your ancestors invaded and took over 'other people's land'?

    Nonsense....

Every land has been taken, retaken, so is the cycle of human's nature of conquering...

  • The facts aren't right. Jewish people never lost their connection to the land of israel/palestine. Romans renamed the land to Palaestina after the 3rd Jewish revolt, but never completely removed jewish population. The collapse of the Crusades was followed by the expulsion of Jews from England (1290) and later France (1391). Muslim defeats led to expulsions from Austria (1421), Spain (the Alhambra decree 1492) and Portugal (1497).

  • Each expulsion and wave of religious persecution led to movement of Jews to Israel. Jews lived there alongside Muslim and Christian Arabs, Greeks, Druze Beduins and other minorities. The whole reason for this conflict to be so painfull is that both Palestinians and Jews have valid claims to the same piece of land.

  • I wonder if they'd mind helping their neighbours by opening the borders to supply thousands of broken bodies (lucky ones)that desperately need water bread medicine and medical care for a chance to keep breathing. Someone has been bombing them mercilessly

  • im sure most of the arabs are good people and i dont have a problem to live with them ^__^

but , ofcourse the terrorists come from them

  • Palestinians have gotten medical assistance from Israel forever. Israel is the direct reason for Palestinian fetal mortality rate decline. There are plenty of people on both sides that would love to live like brothers and put down the weapons.

  • As "heartwarming" as this may be, we must not forget that this is still PROPAGANDA.

  • PROPAGANDA that inspires peace sounds pretty cool to me

    I love everybody.

    now you try saying it

  • I hope he doesnt come back to israel and blow himself up... I wonder what his so thankful mother is teaching him about the country that saved his life.

  • These doctors are not the only ones in Israel who want Arabs/Muslims to live long and healthy lives. However, these people whose children are saved have moral obligations to call for Israel's right to exist in peace rather than for its destruction. If the non-fanatical Arabs/Muslims do not stand up against the extremists amongst them there will be more tears of sorrow and less of joy.

  • All peolpe ARE people! ARE humans! But not HAMAS stupid terrorists!!!

  • This is what Israel is all about.

  • Just one more example of how Israel is a blessing to the world; they've contributed so very much in skills & technology. God be with this precious baby.

  • I defy name one piece of technology that comes from israel

  • GREAT Israel, now he and all those babies you save will grow up and thank you in a big way.

  • THis is the most heartwarming propaganda video I've ever watched.

  • This is amazing... that Israeli and Palestinian docs can get together and save an infant in the midst of a shooting war... Maybe there's hope after all

  • we need to have these doctors run the government.... and then there will be no more injured babies - if they can work together then why do we not throw out the b""tards who cause this grief... ?.....

  • Actually, this is a worthwhile project and whether it be true or not, it does not lessen my respect for the people of Israel, nor does the negative remarks and lies towards the jews gain ANY respect from me.

  • Nice story and video! Thanks for sharing.

    Shalom!

  • Thanks it's nice to see. All the efforts israel does to protect civlians when targeting those that want her eliminated....like calling them ahead on cellphones. Now how many armies call their enemies to warn them?

  • That is really hard to believe considering they blockaded all of Gaza for nearly a year not allowing any supplies into the region. The populace would no doubly warn those about to be bombed thus making the attack useless. Its sounds like propaganda.

  • Save a Child's Heart is a world renowned non for profit organization that has performed surgery on over 2000 children from impoverished nations all over the world. Google them. This is not propaganda. This is the truth. Stop believing the lies you are fed.

  • Uhhh....this comment was actually my own interpretation of the situation. History has shown Israel wouldn't put any unnecessary harm to their troops thus this act doesn't make seance at all form a military perspective. Perhaps you should look at the statistics to death ratios of civilians committed by both Israel and Palestinians.

  • notalib, you're one of the reasons so many hate the Jews and Israel. I don't believe you represent the average Israeli beliefs.

  • No reason to think she's Israeli ! Sadly you see violence & think it's Israel. Those who hate Israel are of the same ilk as this person. So don't paint reasons falsely or excuse their irrational hatreds. And no she doesn't represent Israeli beliefs. Been there & heard nothing like this. Except AT Israel outside of there.

  • True, turtle, but I strongly advise this website not to allow such perverted hate filled posts to appear. It defeats the purpose of the site which I applaud from the UK.

  • You might want to watch the news or research it..they've been doing it for years & years & it's been on the news this time. They're looking to blow the weapons arsonals in these houses, schools & mosques & a 1/2 hour isn't enough time for Hamas to move the weapons, but is enough for people to leave. That's why news reports so many empty building blown up.

Sorry but that hate is false -it just isn't Israeli sounding at all. I'm sure you've been told otherwise -but it's incorrect. Visit there!

  • You're not listening to me, Turtle. I agree with you, and don't believe the hate filled media and never have.

I've already had a really weird reply full of disgusting comments from notalib, who appears to hate the world, not just Muslims. Glad to see his/her post has been deleted below.

No way is that person Jewish.

  • Did I miss what you meant? I'm sorry. I'm glad they're deleted below. No way they were Jewish. No matter who it's at, that was gross.

  • I hope we can learn from this example how we can get along, if we really wanted to!

    Its time for peace, truly!

    No more wars

    Love and blessings

    Catherine

  • Thank you for this post! No surprise in kindness and humanity and love of life! MAZEL TOV TO THE BABY!!!

  • Nice one. The media prefer to go along with the belief that Israel is evil. It isn't.

This video shows how things can be. Peace!

  • God bless this little baby and those working to save his life, may they be blessed!

  • Will the world show this? no. They rather show that its Israel the baddies.

    Am Yisrael Chai

  • That is why it is out responsibility to disseminate this video as much as possible. Share with your friends! Post to Facebook! Etc. We can make a difference here.

  • Posted to all my friends. Thanks.

  • The world is full of hypocrites who love to spread lies on Israel but we shall expose them, dont worry.

  • Again and again I am amazed with the state of Israel!

    Go Israel!

  • This is the type of message we need to be promoting. What other country treats the children of the people they are fighting?

  • amazing!
