In 2010 There was a pep band with a bunch of schools that came too! I played in it too with my band along with other bands in Husky Band Day! We didn't play this so this is something else, but it brings back such good memories!!
@laglagga Dude... these guys learn a new show for each home game, meaning some shows need to go from sight-reading to performance in less than a week. The sound is always incredible. The drill, not great but not bad either. Again... ONE WEEK. No, really, where do you go?
@tubeteacher79 Uhh I go to community college. Although I did apply, and got accepted for Winter 2010. But I couldn't afford and had to deny. Sure what you say makes sense, but I gotta say just the whole UW atmosphere has too much of this Indie homo/queer element that I can't stand.
The education may be great, but I for one can't get past that. That's my issue.

Your choices are find a way to live with it or move to a red state like Texas or Alabama. I didn't go to UW, but I find it odd that the band director's decision to perform music by the most popular pop artist at the time would be your basis for making a school selection.
