Almost cry when watch this video. I just known about HIDE for a short while but the fact that he .. really make me shock. And yet the vocal's voice so warm and touching. Can't bear watch this video again. Oh dear ..

it wans't realy suicide. the guitarist would tie a towel around their neck and to a door knob to releave back pain. and that night hide was drunk when he did it and passed out and slumped over. one of his friends went to check on him an found him like that and when the media got wind of it they reported it as suicide and a bunch of fans were so distraught that they stared killing themselves too with a towel. the other members of X were pissed. and explained that it wasnt suicide. horrible...

So thank you for that. hideto matsomoto hide~sama master of his guitars and art was a true and original writer and guitarist who became one of the greatest and most memorable visual Kei rockers of Japan. He soon became well known in many counties. He was one of the original band members of the world famous X or Xjapan, Spread Beaver. hideto matsumoto wrote and composed most of his own music. His last Band was Zilch .

beautiful song choice for this sad video. I think it was an accident, he was trying to relieve the shoulder strain and fell asleep due to drinking. whatever the cause, he is gone. We are so thankful for the music he left us. rip, hide matsumoto.  arigato for the music.

i heard it was suicide including that he was drinking on the same night. i think he was found hanged somewhere with a towel covering his head. and what made it worse three fans followed the same fate (not be force) it's very unfortunate on what happened, rest in peace hide i'm sure your rocking out in heaven l..l ^.^ l..l

he was found in his house,"hanged" btw. the towel was wraped around his neck and so he was choked.(i hope i could help,my english isnt very well . . )
