That's my grandpa. He was an amazing guy. I was pretty young when he passed, but I've heard nothing but amazing things from Hazel and my Mom about him. Seeing things about him online makes my heart smile.

The tune is Red Man Blues. It was one he did regularly with New Grass Revival.

I played with him at john Hartfords house at Christmas time, 1991. He was AWESOME!! A real gentlemen.

Amazing pickin on this tune......great example of the evolution of 3 finger style picking and Courtney was only 15 yrs younger than Earl Scruggs himself.
