I remember p[laying this on an old shareware compilation disc, Galaxy of Games: Arcade Action. I still remember accidentally quicksaving just before a skeleton I think zapped me and I could never get any further without restarting the entire thing. Brilliant game, thanks for uploading, I've been trying to remember the name of this game for ages.

I loved how this game had so many additional places you could visit before finishing level. Nowdays 90% of the time is just go forward, go forward, go forward, and when there are additional places to visit then most of the time its a forest with nothing of interest.

this was my first fps. my dad bought the floppy and a guidebook from a guy at his college and we beat this game to death and beyond. dr. hammerstein was a pain to get to at the age of 5 but totally worth it. my question though is can you torrent the full thing or am i gnna have t omail 40 bucks to the creator and be patient. all i found was the demo (which is ep1 lvs 1-10 of 30) any help would be appreciated

This game was one of the bes part of my childhood....i still remember how cool was.... i think this game must be rebuilt again with good graphic but the same map with some new secret areas and BOSS fight. I had the shareware version back in middle school, and it scared the s--- out of me a few times...like the level where the lights go out...or when you go up a staircase and there's a witch RIGHT in front of you at the top.

If anything, the rough graphics made this game even creepier.  It was, however, a very nice touch that your guy (Hugo) looks progressively more and more "dead" as his HP goes down. Around 60%, he looks like zombie, and by the time you're nearly dead, he's little more than a skull.

I have it on dosbox and I have to play the easiest difficulty just to survive due to the fact that by the time I click fire 3 times it (if I'm lucky) shoots once. And plus I'll be aiming at the monster and it would really have already moved just not show it, so I miss anyway! Please help!!!

Just use the built-in cheat system, you can activate it in the options. You can also give you infinite life, infinite ammo and all weapons.

Yeah :) I had shareware version of this from PcWorld Computer CD when I was like 10 years old :D The game scared shit out of me, I couldnt play it alone back then, mostly my friend played it when he visited me. You play dos version with other graphics that I had in windows version, I think that windows version were a bit more scary :P

In this video, not all secrets were found and not all enemies were killed but you don't have to kill every enemy and find all secrets in this game in order to move to the next level and beat the game.

How were you able to find all the secret panels in this game? I looked around and I was able to find most of them and on one level I figured out the code for a safe. Did you figure it out without the scroll?
