Don't Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara find it odd that Batgirl can get inside the warehouse but Batman and Robin can't? And doesn't Batgirl get suspicious when Batman is so anxious to get rid of her after they defeat the villians?

This episode has Barbara Gordon saying, "Maybe Batgirl alone can do something"---and she gets captured.

A far, far cry from the Batgirl of the comic books from this same period who could whip a crook over her shoulder.

It's a shame the TV Batgirl was written so poorly though Barbara Gordn was a strong character.

Years ago I heard that they originally wanted Batgirl to do Judo chops and kicks, which seemed to be the popular TV/movie fighting style at the time. They said the director or the producer didn't think it was very lady-like. (!?)

Aside from that, if Milton Burl can be a Bat-villian, then Robin Williams could have been a great Joker as far as I'm concerned.

Yvonne Craig...wow she was amazingly beautiful! In this, she's dressed in purple, in "Star Trek", as a slave girl, she was green. Green and purple...the Joker's colors. Coincidence...??? Hmmmm...! :-)

what I like Most about this episode is what happens after this video got cut off when Batman and Robin had finally gotten Batgirl back via running away and coming back in their other identities of which was just about all that that this TV Show could do just to give Batgirl more character because adding Batgirl as according to a # of sources for the 3rd and final season did help to add higher excitement but not higher ratings They even used the runaway theme in the Comic of Batman&Robin A.#19

this stuff really takes me back to when i was a kid. awsome stuff although one would ask why other characters such as two face poision ivy and the scarecrow and or even ras al ghul never appeared. sinatra definately would have been a really cool choice to play harvey dent two face

@nemass26 Ra`s Al Ghul wasn`t created at the time ! Louie could be considered a male version of Poison Ivy though Ivy genuinely cared for plantlife while Louie merely used it for his purposes ! Two-Face was going to appear as A Newsman who got half his face scarred when a TV blew up in front of it and Clint Eastwood was considered for The Part but The Episode was scrapped ! Scarecrow would`ve been too frightening !
