This brings back so many memories. I sang this in a show when I was 3 or 4, and apparently I thought the lyrics were "there was a manatee lost deep inside of me." 15 years later, my family still makes fun of me for that.

This song is so sweet... I got to sing it for competition a month or two back. =3 Only, the version I I had to sing were the first two verses, and I didn't repeat the 'there was a melody' and on. Thank you for the video. This helped me practice outside the chorus room.

I finished reading one those books that talks about things that happened on your birthday,(mine`s November 27,1995) and mine said that The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera, and Rigoletto all either came out or broke records that day. Now I know why I love them all and why I enjoy singing them.
