Robert Crumb of the Serenaders did the artwork for the Yazoo records compilation of Roy's music. Roy also played tenor banjo, ukulele, and regular guitar.

All the above have made recordings...from Edison cylinders to DVD's.

実は私はそれほどハワイアンの成り立ちについてあまり詳しくなく 、あまりうまく説明できませんが、リッケンバッカーなどに代表さ れる電気式のスチール・ギターが出るまで当然アンプなしのラップ­ トップだったわけですね。

ちょうど日本で言えばバッキー白片以前、灰田兄弟の頃の演奏のよ­うなものでしょうか。
