My 14 yr old daughter just got over the swine flu. It wasn't near as bad as the regular flu. Lasted a week.

Cool. I also seen on sky news that some organisation is now expecting half the number of people will be infected than first thought and apparently they were revising the number down. I wish i remembered cause i would stick a link in the video as well.

But despite common sense, the facts and even announcements that its stable and no worst than regular flu, our government here is still going nuts if someone catches it! Assholes cant admit when theyre wrong and back down.

Yeah, bird flu ha around a 70% death rate, but doesnt infect alot. On the other hand Swine Flu is part Bird Flu, but can infect lots of people.. THis means that a person with bird flu, can get swine flu, and the bird flu gene thats in the swine flu can mix. Creating a super deadly, super fast, flu. All flus are mixtures of different flus. Whats more worrying is Aids combining with other viruses which has happened already. Fact is this flu along with any other flu can mutate into something deadly. But since this flu is less deadly than regular flu(with people who have caught it saying theyve had worst) And the fact that the people that have died(like all other flus) are the serious sick and elderly. Nothing out of normal there.

Avion flu i agree to be cautious over however look at what would happen if "Swine Flu"(keep in mind it aint a prper swine flu)did go pandemic. It would have a smaller death rate than most flus. Why not be scared off the rest?

The scare is cause the 1918 flu killed so many. But this aint proper Swine Flu being a combination of human, bird, swine.

All Flus are mutants and at the end of the season 1/3 have changed. But i would say worry about the

deadlier ones. Or aids mutating and combining with easy to catch viruses. Lets say that it might combine with an airborne disease like tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is the leading killer of AIDs sufferes. It is possible and theres some proof its happened. Its all hypothetical. Swine flu included. What if it becomes pandemic, what if it becomes deadly. Trust me "Swine Flu" aint a threat any more than any other flu.
